Still one of the best choreographed films ive seen in a while. To think the budget was literally piss poor. And they made it insanely detailed and enjoyable
I don't know what the objective was, but usually you would want to have 1 team clear out top-to-bottom with a seperate containment team/uniformed officers around the perimeter top catch any runners. At least from what I was taught
The guy in regular clothing (their boss) was actually a corrupt cop who led his men ( this team) with only purpose to punish the mob ( who occupied the building) for failing to pay protection money So it's an unsanctioned hit in the first place
Going from top to bottom approach requires you to access the highest floor somehow, assuming you have a way to not trigger the spotters and alarm and bring your men there safely
Haven't seen the film yet but I know the premise was this building is under complete control of a powerful crime lord and this unit gets stuck until reinforcements arrive but I have to say, where was all the intelligence gathering? You mean to tell me these guys believe there are still civilians in this building? If they had done their research and concluded that there were no civilians in this building that'll make murking everyone in there pretty easy
At the very least don’t lower your weapon The kid might not have made a run for it if the guns were still pointed straight at him he ran when he got a window of opportunity They could have told him to get on the ground and then restrained him the way did the others up till then
If you know the guy you want to get is in the building why not just get a larger force, surround the building and tell him to come out or he’ll be starved out? Either that or just occupy the lower levels and cut all the power and water. I did like editing though. The transition of the floors changing by way of them running in front of them was a great way to show them ascending without a bunch of stair scenes.
Their objective was not just the crime lord but the entire building and they’re entirely on their own, since it’s an unsactioned operation. They go in expecting regular thugs. The officers acting as perimeter end up being sniped. Unfortunately this entire mission is set up by the raid leader who really wanted to just kill the criminals for working with corrupt police officers, knowing that because he is one. The corrupt superiors of *him* then arm the entire building knowing that he wants to expose them all. He greatly underestimates the firepower of the building and almost everyone dies.
Also, drug lords buy their way into police forces, meaning some cops are corrupt. Only way to conduct a raid like that is with small teams of guys who can be trusted. Plus they wanted to hit the whole building, not just one guy
Tactically questionable, why would they send so few Swat operatives to "raid" a stronghold? They lose the element of surprise once the first floor is secured, and the rest of it is waiting to get ambushed. Just get ordinary police to surround the building, then wait them out
Yea this raid was not authorized by the HQ, the white haired guy had some kind of beef with the crime lord who controlled the building, something about betrayal or something, even the SWAT leader refused to partake in this raid because he was concerned about his mens safety, but the white haired guy convinced him to do it, that’s why there’s very little amount of unit sent to the building, and also no supporting unit and police blockade etc etc.
the amount of flaging ur team here is crasy and shoudnt be even ok. also the fact that the guy without helmet fired the first round and before it hit the kid, he had time to run a few steps and shout police. must be them slow bullets
@@CatIsNotInterested flashlights, sure. NVGs? HELL NAW 😂😂😂 They are in broad fucking daylight, 4k+ dollar NVGs are absolute waste of money and supply for a raid. Even the most well-armed and funded police stations barely has enough NVGs for a platoon, those things are reserved only for military fanboys that yaps about how the ones with better gears does better job.
There were 1000 things that went wrong tactically in this scene and I don't know where to begin. They're a 16-24 man team (platoon) raiding a large compound with a large enemy presence that knows when they come, and an alarming amount of windows and rooftops that they haven't done a single bit of recon on, while they have two officers sitting in a bearcat chatting away. So much more to explain but I'm not going to. This was just a cluster-fuck in and of itself. If there was a single sniper that was holding the hallway they initially breached, they would've been wiped out in 2 minutes.
Have you watched the full film? the enemy do not know when they come and those who patrolling only a few people out of many. Also the enemy only has 1 sniper and he isn't patrolling to see anything outside the building on the window or anything, You can see it when one of the police platoon is shot dead by him, but that's when the sniper is already deployed. In conclusion, the enemy only knew they had entered the building by CCTV.
And this is why you don't judge a whole movie based on one scene. You're missing the whole damn plot. Watch the movie and your questions will be answered.
@@ThisIsntTwitter I literally said 1000 things wrong with the scene but hey, its whatever. I watched the entire movie, I know that cops have tried to raid the house several times and failed, I only was talking about this scene as I said in my comment.
