@Adam Demeter the stunt likely required the police car to be built on a dolly that was pushed by the van. The Dodge probably was striped and didn't have an engine in it so it could be pushed more easily. That's probably why it's the oldest police car used. All the rest at least had to be new enough to run.
I’ve come to realize, the amount of money lost in destruction and lives lost while police chace happened. Rendered it useless since they spent more than what was stolen to attempt to get it back.
A good example of great resources with bad technical filmmakers. What a waste of produce, cars and stunt people. Bad acting too. The editor tried to rescue this movie but you can't make an apple pie when you have rotten tomatoes.
Why do parents worry about some rated r movies? I mean like, all it is is a PG-13 movies except with a lot more f bombs added in andall the way increased violence!
Mom: we already have “Heat” at home
The Heat at home: ☝🏻
Hey, there could be worse. XD
5:10 Ford Crown Vic magically turns into a Dodge Diplomat. They keep changing police cars when a big stunt happens.
eldo59 I
eldo59 And then it turns into a Caprice.
The Diplomat is from roughly 1984. If this movie came out in 1997, then it would be 13 years old. On average, police cars last less than half that.

great underrated film
LMFAO, the bad guy is just watching clips from the actual movie.
Indeed... that monitor he's looking at, is probably a huge greenscreen with footage from the movie pasted over it... XD
Keith David!
Hamming it up like a true pro to make the movie awesomely cheesy, but includes some awesome.
that is some amazing cops
I love clips like this...Just subscribed.
Interesting to see the Chevy Caprice wearing a Ford Crown Vic wheel trim on the rear. I guess they ran out of Chevy ones...
the camera and microphones are reflected in the van
Scene later reused in L.A. Heat, episode 34 "Widow Maker" and episode 35 "Obsession".

It's about sending message
I'm guessing the film makers watched the A team too many times in the 80's lol
can't beat a Chevy (van) !!
Anyone knows what the siren is?

That's clever. I oughta use that sometime
Seriously, the editing is utter crap
+Colin Donovan
That phrase is actually how the website "Rotten Tomatoes" got its name.
Sound mixing is the worst. Siren sounds like it is on a loop and always at exact same volume.
damm... I want that van.
They have passed the same silver Camry about 3 times
The driver sounds exactly like Michael from GTA V and looks identical.
Kostas Sterling maybe it was michael...
Michael Madsen did not play as Michael, however he was the voice of Tony Cipriani in GTA 3
Huh
T
Maybe Michael was inspired by this.
Airship, target is hostile. Green light for the AR10.
Go For it
Love how he pulls a gamer move at the end.
Man. Those veggies and fruit went flyin. Tossed salad anyone? 😂😂😂😂😂😂👍👋😁.
No scrambled eggs though... ;-)
this is a PM film?
Hollywood sucks with it's police chases in movies now! Better in the past not the present decade.
what siren is equipped in the police cars it shows up a lot in 90's movies put I can't find a brand or place it
It’s robbery gone high scale, but the motive is always the same: pure greed.
5:25 OMG
Movie name
マイケル・マドセンじゃん!
The ONLYYYYYYY reason ppl came to c this clip was the 91 vix and 96 caprice with different lightbars, let's be real about this
Continuity errors all over this car chase
