    The tip about keeping your elbow level at the net is so good! I haven't heard a coach talk about that on any badminton youtube video thank you!

    Unfortunately, there are no girls coming to play with us so I have to say men's doubles. Your words are easy to understand and follow, nice. I've tried to implement your coaching as much as possible on court and it helps, thank you so much.

    Best regards ☺️

    Hello coach Kennie. Thank you for making and sharing these videos. I really learn a lot from them. I have a question. Should senior age players like 40+ play only doubles or can they try singles as well?. I would love to hear from you. Thank you.

    • @CoachKennieAsuncion
      @CoachKennieAsuncion  3 года назад

      It all depends on your fitness level and not so much the age. If you feel strong enough to play singles (which requires a lot of stamina) then by all means go for it. Doubles is fun only because the exchanges of shots are much faster.😁🏸

    coach can you pls tell best suppliments after game to recover fast .we usually consume banana after game which i personally fell don not help to recover fast and in next match my enery level is very lowwwwww thus low attacking and more weakness

    • @CoachKennieAsuncion
      @CoachKennieAsuncion  4 года назад +1

      Will discuss this on future videos. Bananas should be of good help but if you feel its not enough, try to add some oral rehydration salt on your water. Let me know if that helps... thanks! 😁🏸

    Coach your videos are awesome, quick question how do you pick the right partner in Doubles when you have to chose and there is a level difference. Eg me =intermediate and have to select a biginner

    • @CoachKennieAsuncion
      @CoachKennieAsuncion  4 года назад +1

      Well if you have to pick a partner, pick the one who hears you during the game like when you shout “mine or yours” that they actually hear you coz other players who have less experience may just go blank on court but then again since your partner is the beginner you have to make most of the adjustments as the stronger player... 😁🏸

    surly rotation is for higher level plays, very useful Thank you

    • @CoachKennieAsuncion
      @CoachKennieAsuncion  4 года назад

      It just looks easier and natural for higher level players because they’ve been doing it while they are young but definitely anybody who learns the rotation can adjust to any partner and make it look like an easy flow... 😁🏸

    Coach, can you make a video on how to improve doubles game without a coach and a training partner to multi feed.

    • @CoachKennieAsuncion
      @CoachKennieAsuncion  4 года назад +1

      A coach, maybe you can do without but you will need a training partner to practice specific shots😁🏸

    i think ladies doubles is more chill and less energy consuming. but if i’m the only girl then it definitely drains my energy so i need to increase my stamina and conserve it better.

      Keep working on the right footwork until it becomes very natural and you can move without thinking about it and just focus on the speed😁🏸

  • @KY-xz9yb
    @KY-xz9yb Год назад

    7:07 Hi, I want to mention that your footwork after you hit the shot at the right corner seems weird because you are stepping back to the middle with right foot first.
    At 7:17 your student is not doing the same footwork as you. He returns into the middle with a chasse, then steps with right foot. My personal view is that his footwork is correct. Please let me know what you think.

    • @CoachKennieAsuncion
      @CoachKennieAsuncion  4 года назад

      No one should permanently stay in a place or position. I am sure u or your partner would lift the shuttle along the way so you have to make sure you know where your partner is and move back for a side to side position... 😁🏸
