In this game, my buddy @ARCHIT3CT ( live at / archit3ct )and I are fighting in Breath of the Wild--however we can't hit each other directly, and we swap places every 5-10 minutes. Who will manage to find a way to kill the other first?

There's a lot you could do with the desert and they almost made it to a molduga but I was hoping they'd drop one another in a sandstorm. can't find your way out as you slowly freeze/heat to death surrounded by electric enemies.

Next time try one of those mud bog places you sink into. When you die you lose a heart and get warped to the place you jumped from. BUT theres a chance since the other guy warps to the mid air position over the bog, he'll just respawn each time back over the bog and just keep falling in over and over again until he dies.
They'd just respawn on the last used solid ground, which would be the place they used to be before the two swapped.
@@AyrisX86 usually yes but because of the warp would he spawn all the way back to the spot where he was before he warped or would he spawn back at the place he warped at? Because its a mod, I'm not sure how it would work. It could even crash the game.
@@sl2ner They did that in one of the matches. It sent them back to solid ground.
@@edelgarddidnothingwrong7994 I believe it just locates the nearest solid ground rather than the nearest solid ground you were on
@@charlezz648 It happens in one of their matches. Crow successfully does the drowning swap out near eventide island, and his opponent gets sent back to the great plateau, where he was before the swap, not the nearest ground to where he was drowned (hence why the rest of the round they were both on the great plateau).
41:27 Crazy idea.. Prop Hunt, maybe in a smaller area, closed off. But Prop Hunt, with 3-4 players would be cool.

A bit too much clipping into terrain, I think that is most important to fix. Also, I think "last position before jumping" should also be swapped so that drowning respawns you nearby and doesn't swap back.
Otherwise, I love death swap ever since the original! Sethbling made so many creative games that come up to this day.

you could do a tag mode. similar to your hunter mod. when you're it you can see runner locations then when you tag a runner they randomly teleport to another location for their turn to start. person who's it at the end of a time limit is eliminated and you start another round. maybe have power ups for the hunter if they kill certain enemy types. like more stamina if you kill a guardian or more speed for killing lynel (amount of extra speed depends on colour). you could have the shrines serve as teleport points that are linked to each other (but fixed pairings each round, so as you use them you learn the new route)

Perhaps change the no healing rule to no healing through items? The ability to heal through sleeping and hot springs seems like it would be limiting enough that it’s fair, but still doable
I have an idea for another challenge here!
What if you did this again, but then it's a 50/50 chance that it will either swap you both, or leave you where you're at? That way each potential environmental hazard is like a coin-toss! Jumping into Ice Water is a secured victory or death. ;)
That's actually a great idea considering how much of the set ups made them lose their own hearts as they begged for the swap to hurry up..

I wish I was there live to help. My idea was a high risk high reward plan.
Go to the demon statue to get a lot of stamina then swim out into the ocean where he won't have enough stamina to swim back.

Now that I think about it, can BotW Multiplayer be combined with other mods and set up such that one player is Link and the other is Linkle?
By the way, I'd change the "can't heal at all" into a "can't heal from the menu". Meaning that Mipha's Grace, passive fairies, heart container pickups and hot springs are all fair game. Edit: Nevermind, I agree that fairies and Mipha's Grace are cheap. You could mod out healing from fairies though, so fairies can be used for cooking potions.
Also, looks like when, let's say, player 1 is in a shrine and player 2 is not, player 1 gets teleported to player 2's overworld position in the shrine and player 2 gets teleported to player 1's shrine position in the overworld.

The death swap in shrines is really easy to explain, it is teleporting you each to the relative position in your cell, for you in the shrine that's way out of bounds where the death plane doesn't exist, and for him in Hyrule that's underground near Hyrule field in the center of the map. And if you remember there is a way to wrong warp way out of bounds like that in the base game using moon jump wrong warp and the further down you fall in that middle of nowhere in the shrines the more the game, specifically the graphics, breaks.

I don’t even know if anyone’s gonna read this or if it’s a mod idea of some sort but back when this game came out I had this crazy dream
So basically it was this massive underground cavern, like basically pitch black the size of the desert but it was in a square shape. There were camels roaming the four corners but I could never really tell WHERE they were, I could only hear them. Right at the top middle was a shrine which I think was the goal but for some reason I remember the camels had resources when defeated, and I think I had this dream twice and I remember thinking “I might brave it and get some resources if they don’t get me first”
This has stuck out in my mind for years now and it’s both fascinating and terrifying to think about

I know you want to make every run and video/stream of this something unique, and we all appreciate that. But you dont have too. I'd love to just see regular manhunts, maybe 1v1's with different people or 2v1's with different people, or even the same people. I just want to see more manhunts. Don' need rematches, or special unique gimmicks to draw attention, because you already make quality content.

someone in tts mentioned about breacking a boulder which has a chest behind it and hide behind it during the swap to force him taking damage. in the yiga clan's hideout you could do the same but with the curtains you have to set on fire at the entry. if he doesn't have a torch or flameblade or fire arrows he is basically dead because of the kees behind the curtains, right?

Instead of banning teleports because keeping time is difficult... What they could do is teleport only when out of danger. So no enemy persuit, no losing hearts to weather conditions, etc. Then they can teleport.
