This is tried and true! Play with color wheel and use different colors... like pale green to medium blue to dark purple. You'll have so much fun with it!
I am also a big advocate for the So Glassy lips. They are very moisturizing as well and I wear them as a lip mask before applying lip products. They make my lips smooth and remove the dead skin layer.

I ended up purchasing their iconic pallet, I typically like colorful pallets, but when I do go for neutrals, I love cool tones and rosy tones. I love that it includes a black shade and an icy blue shimmer.
i feel like the blotted lip has a very specific usefulness and outside of that they're pretty redundant, as you said. the one i have i think is a pretty good dupe for black honey (melty) and i wear it on my no makeup or extremely minimal makeup (this + mascara + powder to combat my oiliness) days because the fact it's dry makes it look even more natural - i have cool toned lips that actually turn blue if i'm even remotely cold so it's PERFECT for that "mlbb" effect. if it wasn't for that, i'd have no use for it either as i like to opt for lip oils nowadays lol
That eyeshadow look was absolutely amazing on you! I freaking love Colourpop eyeshadows and supershock formulas too. I hope they don’t jack up their prices like all other inexpensive brands are doing 🤬. I will be so mad and disappointed. Because it makes me lose all respect for the brands….kinda like I lost respect for The Ordinary brand, with their price jack-ups. I just love the way you apply your makeup, especially your eyeshadows. Yesterday I was bored so I sat down and practiced your eyeshadow techniques, and it really does make the eyeshadow more vibrant the way you apply it. I’ll be doing it your way from now on. 😊🙏🏼

I have them all atm. Blue Velvet is pretty much the exact love child between Blue Moon and On Cloud Blue, and the formula is better, but that’s admittedly compared to 2 year old Blue Moon & On Cloud Blue from 2021

People/shoppers can be such heathens in the stores…breaking palettes and opening things and putting their fingers in products. 🤬 It makes me so mad to go to TJMaxx and see all the packages opened and fingerprints in them. Ugh. I open things to look at them, but I DONT touch them, and I put them right back in the box nicely. Some people are so inconsiderate and gross

yeah you can order from their website still, but you will have to pay taxes when it comes to your country instead of at checkout like people in the US will. but they offer free worldwide shipping every now and then, keep an eye open for that :)

I think there is just not enough volume in demand. As far as I can tell, Nordstrom is probably the more popular shopping center here in Vancouver. Our population is 1/10 of that of the states.
I really like the Colourpop eye primer for making my eyeshadows blend better cuz sometimes some of my eyeshadows become patchy and that primer helps with it and I have to use two eye primers anyway since my eyelids are so oily that I need a eye primer for opacity & blending and a eye primer that’s sticky & tacky for my shimmers so I can use it as cut crease on my eyelids so that my shimmers doesn’t crack and separate on eyes cuz my eyelids really make all my shimmers crease no matter what formula it is it’s a absolute nightmare

To be absolutely honest, when you use a super shock anything, be sure to look at yourself in natural bright sunlight before you leave the house. They are intense and beautiful and remind me of the days that these sparkling shadows, blushes and esp highlighters were marketed mostly for evening wear !!!!

I personally think this is the exact same formula as before, just clear packaging for Target since you cannot swatch things there. Since Colourpop is one of the few bigger brands with their own in house factory a lot of rules that apply to others don't apply to them, since they control the entire chain of production for their brand. :)
As a 49 yr old, I struggle to find a concealer that works for my dark and sunk in under eyes. I go lightly with it, but everything creases. It's so frustrating. I moisturize and use an under eye cream. Any suggestions? ❤
Have you tried using a color corrector? It seems a lot of brands are releasing them lately, including elf..Maybe that, topped with a light concealer, would help with darkness. I've been using a lightweight serum concealer and enjoying it (I'm 41)
I don’t have creasing yet under my eyes so I haven’t tried it but I just saw a hack on this that might help. Supposedly if you add in some setting spray with the concealer under your eyes and then set with powder it won’t crease as much. Might be worth trying!

I love the Colourpop matte bronzer, but hate the giant, clunky pan. I was both excited and sad to see they launched it in better packaging at Target. It’s great for everyone who doesn’t already have the giant packaging, but I don’t need to get it since I already have the original one.

Oh like I said in the video for me they did not look great, they look a tad heavy and I feel there are plenty of other options at the drugstore Id prefer over those.
Maybe this could help someone: I love the UD primer potion and I really like the colourpop eye primer, otherwise the Sigma shadow primer doesnt work for me 😊
I don’t understand the plastic type of lip liner component from colourpop. That is the only reason I don’t buy them. As soon as I sharpen them the color inside slides out. It’s so annoying.
Watching Marlenas video changed my perspective on brands going into retail ie lesser quality for a lower price. Hearing a brand owner admit that was eye opening. Its worth a watch. CP at target is not as good quality as ordering online from CP directly. I love that glow blush on you.
Colourpop has their own factory in house though, so a lot of things that apply to other brands don’t apply to them since they control the entire chain. Very very few brands own their own factories :)
I realize that. Just feel like the quality is very different than that of ordering in their site. Not every product but some of their shadow 9 pans for sure. Others have said the same thing. 😊
@@therealloubird I don’t believe the Colourpop eyeshadow quality is different in stores than online. Like Angie said, they produce their eyeshadows all in the same factory. Many people are saying that Blue Velvet palette is actually better quality than CP previous blue palettes that weren’t sold in Target.

I don’t like the packaging of the eyeshadow palettes. Looks cheap and fragile. I much prefer a pretty printed cardboard palette.

Marlena Stell just did video on makeup industry and she talks about how brands need to cut edges when they go into stores - I was just thinking if this new formula you described in the blue palette (it also looks like they did smaller pans) could be what Marlena was talking about? Just a thought that popped up in my mind when you talked about the palette and formulas. 🧐

I personally think this is the exact same formula as before, just clear packaging for Target since you cannot swatch things there. Since Colourpop is one of the few bigger brands with their own in house factory a lot of rules that apply to others don't apply to them, since they control the entire chain of production for their brand. :)
Interesting! Makeup Just For Fun found the blue and purple ones to swatch poorly and didn't work super well. Maybe her's were too hard pressed.
I'm considering getting the fushia matte blush from target. I don't think I have anything like it. I might hate it but idk lol
As a 49 yr old, I struggle to find a concealer that works for my dark and sunk in under eyes. I go lightly with it, but everything creases. It's so frustrating. I moisturize and use an under eye cream. Any suggestions? ❤
Have you tried using a color corrector? It seems a lot of brands are releasing them lately, including elf..Maybe that, topped with a light concealer, would help with darkness. I've been using a lightweight serum concealer and enjoying it (I'm 41)
I don’t have creasing yet under my eyes so I haven’t tried it but I just saw a hack on this that might help. Supposedly if you add in some setting spray with the concealer under your eyes and then set with powder it won’t crease as much. Might be worth trying!
yeah I'd say try a little corrector first, a thin thin layer, that might help. I really like the one from Sigma :)

I love the Colourpop matte bronzer, but hate the giant, clunky pan. I was both excited and sad to see they launched it in better packaging at Target. It’s great for everyone who doesn’t already have the giant packaging, but I don’t need to get it since I already have the original one.
How are people applying Supershock face products? I haven't figured it out cuz my reg are to fluffy. Honestly I've been using my fingers but it's not great
I use a stiffer highlighter brush with them, like the Sigma F03 :)
I looked a few months ago at the Coloupop target collection and every single item was damaged- eyeshadow & lip products. Hard pass. Are they making different products/worse quality?
Why won’t you recommend the colourpop foundation and concealer? Not sure if I missed it but what’s the reason… I recently purchased them when they were having a sale and I didn’t see any reviews before buying n now I’m wondering 😁
Oh like I said in the video for me they did not look great, they look a tad heavy and I feel there are plenty of other options at the drugstore Id prefer over those.

I don’t understand the plastic type of lip liner component from colourpop. That is the only reason I don’t buy them. As soon as I sharpen them the
color inside slides out. It’s so annoying.

Watching Marlenas video changed my perspective on brands going into retail ie lesser quality for a lower price.
Hearing a brand owner admit that was eye opening.
Its worth a watch. CP at target is not as good quality as ordering online from CP directly.

Colourpop has their own factory in house though, so a lot of things that apply to other brands don’t apply to them since they control the entire chain. Very very few brands own their own factories :)
I realize that. Just feel like the quality is very different than that of ordering in their site. Not every product but some of their shadow 9 pans for sure. Others have said the same thing. 😊
@@therealloubird I don’t believe the Colourpop eyeshadow quality is different in stores than online. Like Angie said, they produce their eyeshadows all in the same factory. Many people are saying that Blue Velvet palette is actually better quality than CP previous blue palettes that weren’t sold in Target.
@@EnvyBlu I just feel different. Thanks for the reply. It’s all about price point, packaging etc. Time and time again we talk about three different CP formulas so it can and is at times different.
