    FYI, rain chains were not created so that you don’t have to have unsightly gutters. It’s easy to run gutters internally in the walls of the house if you didn’t want to see them. The real reason that I discovered when I lived in Seattle (where rain chains are incredibly common) is that rain chains are silent so you don’t hear the water gurgling down the gutters. It silently slides down the chain.

    Wow, Enes and Mike, you simply outdo yourselves with every property, just when the last one can’t get more amazing, this one is just truly stunning! The mix of steel, chrome, stone, wood, and green landscaping is nothing short of brilliant. As much as I really love and adore California modern contemporary , I dare say they could learn a thing or two about European modern style. This house really turns up the modern futurism (the glass roof and panels for one thing!)nand tones it down at the same time, if one can believe that’s possible . The use of greenery and landscaping with your own park like setting is so thoughtful. And the highlight for me is the master bedroom section, wow, so imaginative and unique! Thank you Enes and Mikey for all of your hard work in bringing us incredible footage of these properties ( and yachts , motorhomes , etc), so amazing to see!

    My god. The human being is fascinating. Just knowing that a person designed a home like this is mindblowing. It is true a piece of art. 52 millions is probably worth the price to live in a place like this. The view is just incredible, then you have a perfect modern house with all the nature surrounding it. My mind was set to dislike any houses that had a glassy minimalist build, but whoever built this masterpiece changed my mind. I think now I can say with no doubt that this is the best house I've ever seen in this channel. And Enes evolved from youtuber to Bruce Wayne in this video as well. Mikey is the new Alfred.

      I am gonna add this. This house at the same time it seems to have no walls, no privacy, is yet one of the most private houses I've ever seen aswell. This has to be my favorite of the houses you have toured on this channel. The amount of levels and special little places makes the garden magical, the daylight from the roof into the kitchen area, but with the very natural shade from the roofplants. I've heard someplace that this type of branch-like shading above us mimick being in a forest, and it makes our instincts feel safe. Of course the view, but also how you get the "second hand view" in the bathroom through the bedroom. Most of the time, I don't think stainless steel is such a good choice in a house, because people can't pull it of without it looking like a restaurant kitchen or a butchery, but here it goes so well with the plants and reflects the view and colour of the garden in an extremely good way. Best i've seen. Also, the interiour designer chose all the lamps and stuff after my taste, much better than they usually do.

  • @JMacias066
    @JMacias066 2 года назад +4

    Rarely do these house tours need an explanation other than the tour itself. But holy hell. This is truly a work of art that is so much larger than the house shown in the video.
    This place is an experiment of the senses - starting with the first floor garage. It's "poorly" lit in comparison to the rest of the house with only one skinny skylight and black walls in the hallway which lights up with dim yellows ... but the contrast as soon as you come out of the elevator to the main floor is that you are smacked by an immense amount of warm natural light from every direction. That main room is actually not very big, but the experience that led you there makes your arrival so grand.
    The way there is little to obstruct your views throughout the home plays with the idea of bringing outside, in. And in many cases it looked like it was hard to tell as the space is transitioned so well. I mean I think I actually saw a butterfly fly into the room. I think the master is the great example of this. That large glass door is like a picture frame you can walk through.
    I'm sure there's also something bigger here with the idea of primary shapes throughout the house. There's many squares and straight edges that make up the rooms and the hallways. The primary bedroom has a semicircle glass door. The upstairs pool is a trapezoid. Much of the lighting was circular or cone shaped. But then constantly throughout, the organic lines of nature sort of envelop the whole property and there's a dance between strict and unrestricted imagery.
    I think Enes was right on target when he said it's the type of place to walk around barefoot. What an amazing place. Jean Nouvel has created something magnificent.
