Jon is steel in need of exercising his voice before tour will happen. But Jon is ALWAYS INSPIRATION for me even his journey with his voice is extremely important. He is showing us how to behave when we pursuit things we love and want. Thanks Jon been mine inspiration for 27 years now 👍🏻

Sounds good, Jon's voice is sounding good, despite all the people saying his voice is gone, I think it's improving, in the almbum he sounds good, I think he is testing his live performance and at the same time exercising his vocal cords, hopefully he will get it, of course it's not the same for a singer/front man, after years of touring, up until this live performance it's good enough for me and what happens from here it's up to Jon as the leader of the band and hopefully he will tour again! Let's see what happens, I'm OK with any possible outcome!
Perhaps it's possible that all negative people here give him enough time to heal and wait for next year what will happen. And, btw, nobody is forced to watch these clips. For me he sounds fine and who doesn't want to spend money for his concerts is not forced to do so.

I'm surprised at this. A definite improvement. Still wanders off out of tune here and there, but much better for sure. His problem is that the back catalogue is very challenging and he's going to have to be inventive in how he handles that if the band go back on tour. Maybe he could share vocal duties with local cover-band singers? Run contests/TV shows to pick supporting vocalists. The band has a future, but I'm not sure that any 62 year old man can be expected to sing Slippery and NJ night after night. In addition, his voice limits what he can write. You can't write big loud rock songs if you can't sing them. The band will always be Jon's, and he'll always be the frontman, but you'd have to hope that he can get creative in finding a solution that allows him to give live shows like he used to, and record rock songs like he used to. If it were me, I'd be looking to the TV networks to see if they'd any interest in an audition type show, and I'd be picking a female vocalist at the end of it. Let her do the big 80s choruses while he does the verse and maybe plays some guitar. Meatloaf couldn't sing for years, but his live show was excellent - because he had a terrific band and two exceptional female vocalists that sang a lot of the lead parts. Jon sounds much better than Meat here - so there's no reason he can't do something similar to even greater effect.

It’s been two years, he’s healed. Just becuase it’s not as bad as in 2022 doesn’t mean it’s not bad. He needs to retire, he can’t sing anymore.
