Bit harsh on Japan. Modern Japan is nothing like Imperial Japan...and from my experience, the Japanese seem to be considerably less selfish and have a better moral compass than many other nationalities (mine included)...though gender inequality is an issue, as it is in many places. The Taiwanese I have met have also made a positive impression. That China has suffered much historically at Japanese hands is not in doubt. Nevertheless, the anti-Japan vitriol on this page seems a little unwarranted.
