ALL LOONA'S SUBUNIT ISSA DIFFERENT AESTHETIC like ⅓ is the Old retro aesthetic, OEC is like friendship kinda aesthetic then yyxy is like Light and dark aesthetic
Deta Aditya friend: LOOΠΔ sounds like a cool group, let me look it up on RUclips, how is spelled? Me: that's easy, it's: -L-Brilliant-Incredible-Amazing-Show stopping-Spectacular-Never the same-Totally unique-Completely not ever been done before-O-O-N-A. Friend: Me: Friend:I- Me:sTaN lOoNa
I'm blown away... This is perhaps one of the most artistic and slow moving videos for LOONA at this point, and it did everything I wanted it to, even before I wanted it to happen. This is incredibly shot, directed, and edited. YYXY, I'm ready.
I don't really see what's artistic of a video playing classical music over a slow moving camera following the girls walk through a mansion. You're right that the shots and editing are beautiful, but "artistic" is a bit exaggerated. It's well produced.
Albdruck, respectfully, the art is in how that combination of cinematography and soundtrack conveys meaning. You don't even have to take into account the nature of the art on the walls in that location they chose and the lyrics of the musical piece to get the _feeling_ they wanted to portray with the lighting and music and editing. On that level alone it easily qualifies as artistic because they made specific storytelling choices that went beyond "this looks good." And then if you dig a little deeper into that art and those lyrics and the artistic choices get a bit mind-boggling. It all has meaning and ties into the story they're telling. That is absolutely "art."
Loona really deserve to win the best new girl group this year... They debut in a different way... They already famous before their official debut.. Like seriously do you agree with me??
Loona certainly deserves to win ROTY but (G)I-DLE will be tough competition since they got wins with their debut song. There's also a chance that either SM or JYP will debut a new girl group by the end of this year. Then you have the group which will be formed through Produce 48 too... For Loona to win their debut has to make a big impact, so we need to support them well!
Kitsune Sama you are right ! Most likely they will tough competition, but I still feel Loona has that je ne sais quoi which will grab the attention of everyone. They are certainly a little different than other groups, they have an AMAZING story line, and they are pretty versatile with their concepts. I think they won't have any issues, also you have to keep in mind BBC is not a S**t company that doesn't how to promote them. ( excuse my language but there a lot of companies out there that doesn't know how to promote their groups. Look what happened to Rainbow) BBC is doing a pretty good job! I hope the best for my girls.
I get it now. Individualism. They have all become their own individual, personality, person. Olivia was the last to do so, which is why she's shown eating the apple last. The girls appear before/behind her because they had already come to the same point of self-discovery first.
Maybe she's not even really sad at the end of Love4Eva because the girls left... maybe she's sad because she wants to leave and that's what the whole video was about. The girls are a manifestation of her resentment of being trapped and having thoughts of escaping?
Dont look at this photo of Yena If you look at the love4eva mv you can tell Olivia Hye didn’t like the Eden too. But she was afraid to go against its rules because of the consequences. Until she finds an apple. And in the beginning it said “But don’t eat the apple” and the title of this video “one”. And because Olivia Hye took a bite of the apple she’s “one” of them now. But that’s just a theory. Edit: You can also see her clothes going back to the love4eva mv again. Once Yves, Chuu, and Go Won escaped their clothes changed from the yellow outfits to those dresses because they were free from the Eden.
always remember the timeline. love4eva is the first events before they all start leaving eden. in yyxy's love4eva mv, olivia hye was quite different from what her mv portrayed. she looks innocent, timid, and obedient. yves wanted the girls to leave eden, to be exiled so they can fall to normal world where the 1/3 resides so that they can meet their counterparts and complete the loonaverse, but ohye refused to do so. she was left behind by others who wandered in the forest and got lost along with the other girls. ( we thought that only one girl was lost in the forest, it's actually more ) anyway, you can say that egoist is actually a point of view of olivia hye.
Yves has faith that she will escape Eden Chuu is loves and admires Yves Gowon and her butterfly symbolize hope Olivia Hye is angers at the other girls for leaving her.
Where u came from, i mean are u new to LOONA?. bcs this is their story, esp. For the eden/yyxy girls, if u already know yves'new' , chuu'heartattack' , go won'one&only' n last olivia'egoist' , imo those solos are taken after yyxy'love4eva' , n this clip is the story , ive watched theory that this place is eden. n idk ib this video only olivia eat the apple. But the 4 of them actually already on earth(?) Those 4 solos. n imo actually the last part of the story still hold on the olivia'egoist' where in the last scene she met heejin. This on the other side is before those solos happend.
Theres this new theory that says that actually theres only one girl in Eden, and Olivia, Yves, Gowom and Chuu are her different personalities. Since Olivia was the only one actually dancing in love4eva at the end, its probably that only Olivia is at Eden I dont even know anymore
I don’t know if this was done on purpose or not but that few shots at the 2:09 where go won’s hair changed from her colour to chuu’s to yves’s to Olivia’s was GORGEOUS
Ok so this is my theory... I've read that many of you think that there's actually only one girl in Garden of Eden, and she's Olivia, meanwhile the other girls are just different manifestations of Olivia's emotion or personalities. I do believe this is correct, there was only one girl left in Garden of Eden, as we can see at the end of "love4eva" M/V. But, in point of view, I don't think Yves, Chuu and Gowon are part of Olivia, I think there were originally 4 girls in Garden of Eden, but one by one were leaving the garden by eating the apple (by sinning). I thought about this because they were always having fun, hiding from the teacher, running away from the mansion, secreting between each other, excluding Olivia. She was always left behind, and seems like she had a bad feeling about what they did (maybe guilty, or she was scared to join them?). So she stayed, doing what the teacher wanted. That might be why the teacher congrated her by applauding at the end of the dancing in "love4eva" M/V. But, even tho she was congrated by the teacher, she had this kind of sad, lonely aura around her. She might have felt lonely since the rest of the girls left the mansion (aka Garden of Eden). So she was ready to take that step, to eat the apple ad leave the mansion. "I don't need no Garden of Eden". She doesn't need to follow more strict rules (their teacher seemed strict always seeing if they were trying to sin, by checking the dirt in their nails, socks and clothing); just to be alone and not having fun like the rest seemed to have. So she took a bite, and suddenly we can see that the music stopped, we could hear the rain, and the girls appeared. She finally sinned and officially left the Garden of Eden, to join the other girls. --- Also, this is like an extra, just something that I'm not actually sure about but want to share with you. "love4eva" sounds like a teeny and girly way to say "love for ever", right? But this is kinda out of the concept in my opinion, and considering that BBC isn't that obvious, I thought this might mean "love for Eve (Eva)" actually. It would make more sense. Since Eve was the first one to sin and leave paradise. Eva is the spanish (and other languages) version of Eve, but it also sounds like Eve in Tiberian, Arabic, and Hebrew I believe, but not quite sure yet. Just thought about it. Not really sure.
Jessica Hernandez !! the title love4eva always rubbed me in a odd way. there are 4 girls in yyxy too, and yves is literally names yves (pronounced eve)?? i think love4eva is could come from the teacher teaching them that eve was evil, she had sinned so they shouldn’t be like her, she deserved no love from god, but yves (being the first out of the 4 to sin) decided to study more and come to the conclusion that eve deserved love, chuu felt moved by yves new knowledge and she fell in love with yves and her way of thinking. gowon felt trapped by the strict rules of eden, she felt trapped by the teacher and her strict teachings, so when yves and chuu showed her a way out they helped gowon get out of her shell and sin with them, by eating the pineapple and leaving eden with them. olivia saw what the other three were doing, and she too agreed eve hadn’t done anything wrong but she was scared of leaving eden. that’s why she sang the song, but she was too scared of the unknown. gowon noticed that and tried comforting olivia but fruitlessly, yves and chuu feared the teacher was catching on so they pressured gowon the leave. much to her distaste, that’s why in the end she looked behind and oliva who was awkwardly looking down at them. they didn’t know, however, that olivia also wanted to leave eden but she was too afraid. that’s why her song is egoistic, she was too hung up on the girls leaving her, not wanting to be a disappointment to her teacher. she loved everyone too much, that’s why when she sinned, she did it for herself. and she’s admitted to being egoistic, she’s let go of yyxy and her “need” to be with them. that’s until she meets with heejin, who helps her rendezvous with the other girls and now olivia is confident with herself and that’s when they’re able to sing the yyxy song; 18.6 rendezvous. at least that’s my theory lmaojdndnndnd
About the Hebrew part - in Hebrew, Eve is actually pronounced differently then “Eve” or “Eva”, but the way it’s pronounced is in fact more similar to “Eva” (I’m fluent in Hebrew, it’s my native language). Hope I helped somehow :}
they were all trained to be the "perfect girl of eden" (at this school? looks like a school) and to obey orders that were taught of them but one by one disobeyed and denied eden. "Four identities, one girl." - they're all yves: 1) "eve/yves of eden" 2) she was the first girl of yyxy so was the first version of herself, the original one. they all fell for yves in their mvs at some point and all sing about loving themselves (except chuu - she sang about yves - so herself) - how can they love yves but "are going to love theirselves instead"...unless they are all yves, so they are loving theirselves...because yves is the original version of them, yves/olivia are like the devil and angel that sit on your shoulders (olivia tried to stay obedient and do the right thing and yves is encouraging them all to disobey, yves also had innocent imagery and olivia was portrayed as the devil but...what if those were parallels to what they were?) also choerrys teaser was released a year ago.
Super interesting. Not sure what it all means, but one theory I have is that all four girls were the same person all along (possibly Eve), representing different stages of her time in Eden and relationship with God and the world outside of Eden. First there's Yves, who opens the door into a dark room and sees the apple. She's the first to enter Eden and is associated with the word "Faith", perhaps symbolizing that she's newly created and therefore still naive and "in the dark" about the evils of the world, so she blindly puts her faith in her creator. Then, Chuu picks up the apple, continuing the action Yves initiated. Curiously, she examines herself, sharing the audience's surprise. It's almost as if she WAS Yves and was suddenly put into the body of a different girl. We know from Chuu's MV that she loves Yves so much that she almost wants to "become" her (dressing like her, learning her choreo), so that makes sense. Her word is "Love", perhaps symbolizing Eve falling in love with the outside world (beginning her escape plan and the temptation of the apple). Chuu goes through the doors and becomes GoWon. Now, we're in a brightly lit room, implying that Eve has "seen the light" of love. The word "Hope" appears, so maybe Eve is feeling emboldened by her love for the world she sees outside those bright, beautiful windows, and hopes to escape Eden. Finally, GoWon opens a door and becomes Olivia. At this stage, Eve feels "Anger". Perhaps she feels betrayed after learning the horror and sin that goes on in the world outside of Eden. Or maybe she's mad at God from keeping it from her. Whichever the case, her anger compels her to go through with the forbidden and take a bite of the apple. Once she does, she sees the three other girls (or her three other forms) standing behind her. Perhaps she's jealous of her past selves because they don't know the evils of the world. In love4eva, the other girls were able to escape while Olivia is the only one trapped in the lie that is Eden. Also, the title of the MV - does it allude to the fact that the girls are actually "one"?
Someone pointed out that if you play with the letters of "one", you'll get "neo" which means "new" in latin. It's a fun coincidence since the cover of the video is Yves's back, "new" is her solo song stylized and written just like "one", in minimal letters. Also, the deutsch opera song alludes to your theory, it's called "The Secret Song" in english and the "secret" might be the lie that is Eden.
yooo I think I got it. So when we see Yves we see "Faith", I think this is the faith she's lost in Eden, in lies? It shows Chuu and it says "Love", so we know that in Heart Attack her desire was to be loved by Yves. But I think it's that she is in love with this idea out of Eden, something new. So now it's Go-Won, and it's a bright room, and it's tied to "Hope". Maybe Hope of leaving? Hope of freedom? It's clear that hope is bright, a new start, we always portray hope as that "Light in the Tunnel", could that be it? Although, the next room she walks in is dark, cracked, there is a window but there's barely light, does that mean that maybe Hope is lost? It was false hope like false faith? But now we see Olivia Hye, it's dark, and "Anger" in Egoist she's angry, resentful, and always looking up. The anger is being lied to, that anger is being left, that anger is more than just Eden, it's the other world too. The song being played is called "Das heimliche Lied" or "The Secret Song" Like how the world out of Eden was a secret? How heaven had secrets? "I am thou, thou art me" I am you, You are me. The video is called one, which if you put this together, this is the story of Olivia, her faith, love, hope and anger. I think this because at the end, all of the are behind her, looking at her in the mirror. We usually see _ourselves_ in the mirror. She is looking at herself. I think they are all ONE but I cant help but think they are still separate people. But they resemble Olivia in some way. Olivia is Eve, but who is Adam? These are the lyrics to Das heimliche Lied. (Translated) There are secret pains Whose lament is never tongued; Borne deep in the heart They are unknown to the world. There is a secret longing That always shies from the light; There are hidden tears A stranger does not see. There is a quiet sinking Into an inner world Where peaceful meadows beckon, Lit by the gleam of stars, Where, all boundaries fallen, The soul raises Heaven And with jubilation Confides its thoughts to the lips. There is a quiet passing Into silent, desolate pain, And no one is allowed to see That heavy-pressed heart. It does not say what it needs, And though it breaks with grief, Tortured to death and bleeding, The stranger does not see it. There is a gentle slumber Where sweet peace abides, Where quiet rest heals the cares Of the weary soul. There is yet a lovely hoping That soars above all worlds, Where, open to another heart, The heart lies filled with love. LOONA is an amazing girlgroup, and thats the tea.
i think that adam migth be gowon (?), she seems to be connected with olivia in a especial way, like in that part of love4eva when they were running to the forest and hyejoo was looking at them and then gowon just turns around to look at her, also there's this especific loonatv that loona staff and the girls trolled gowon saying that her stage name would be adam, here is the link for it : ruclips.net/video/RZ2B4Zoe6NU/видео.html
Oh. My. GOD. WHAT!?!?!??!?!?!? LOONA.. THIS DIRECTION YOU'RE TAKING IS *EVERYTHING!!* This was so ominous, and yet beautiful. BBC I literally love you.💞🤯💞
They are challenging the Judeo-Christian belief regarding freedom and its contradiction. How in Christianity (and I guess the same happens in Islam and Judaism but idk) they teach us that God gave humanity the freedom to do *almost* whatever be want, total freedom, but however we are still tempted to challenge God and break his rules and prohibitions (to eat the Forbidden Fruit, just like Adam and Eve did in the Garden of Eden). At least that's how I see it lol. Satanic queens!
Theory: the "one" is not any specific one of them but rather all of them, all of us, any of us. Summary in first reply, reasoning/timestamps in the "Read More." Let's go~! So, at first glance, it may seem that out of the four in yyxy, the strongest contender for the One (& Only) is Gowon. Her song's name is part of it, but she's also represented in the yyxy logo as the X which joins the others' Ys. We see this based on their positioning at 3:02 in the "love4eva" MV. I could reach a little here and mention that X is often the "answer variable" in basic mathematics; so the answer, X, is in the middle of all these Y's (implying the question "why"). Again, it's kind of a reach, but I wouldn't put it past our dear BBC! *{1, Yves, "new"}* Yves may represent the "one" girl's curiosity and determination to reach the outside world-to find something "new," per se. As she imagines living as Yves, so forms the existence of the red apple. Yves!one learns of temptation, of the possibilities for freedom, self-discovery, etc. Henceforth, she's the one dropping that red apple all over the place. Thank the Lord it is symbolic, or else that's pretty unsanitary. *{2, Chuu, "Heart Attack"}* As "one" imagines the Yves persona, so distinct from her own reality, she becomes enchanted with the concept. That is the version of herself she most aspires to be like/with, and this "innocent love" which grows within her manifests through Chuu. However, Chuu!one must bite into the apple in order to be with/like Yves. (Side Note A, Part 1: through Chuu!one's eyes, the red apple does not appear so dangerous; it's green instead of red. Perhaps she idealizes it as more simple and harmless than it is... or perhaps the apple itself loses some innocence as she bites into it. Both can be true at the same time. A sheltered girl's fantasy of the outside world may be very innocent, and when she actually steps out, both she and the fantasy (apple) lose a certain innocence. I really like BBC's take on this actually, in that the apple is not inherently sinful and the girl is not sinning for sin's sake; nothing is a sin until AFTER the fact, and that's kind of the tragedy.) *{3, Gowon, "One&Only"}* Of course, we know Chuu!one bites the apple. This pivotal step is the story of Gowon: actually putting into action that which Yves conceptualized and Chuu idealized. Gowon!one is the center of the story because she bridges the fantasy of breaking out with the reality. She's the one who undergoes that transformation from dark to light (in hair color and in spirit) and gains new perspective and purpose. We even see it at 1:18 in the "One&Only" MV. She literally steps under a crown of light. Let there be light. Let her story begin. This chandelier crown alludes to so much; ideas à la lightbulb over her head, the dangling fruit that she sees but cannot reach, and of course the idea of being in charge-having agency, taking action, making actual decisions. At 1:24 in "One&Only," we see how she is divided. She doesn't wear the crown yet, but she sees the possibility appearing before her every other time she looks at her shadow (i.e. when she searches herself). She seems conflicted about actually following through, though, which we also see in "love4eva" later on-she's the only one to look back at Eden and Olivia at 3:02. So, from 1:41-1:46, "one" runs from the two forces in her mind that are pushing her to make the choice, to do the deed. Perfectly illustrated at 1:49; one body, three shadows closing in. At last, when Gowon!one makes her choice, she eats the forbidden fruit and there we go. Light. The seven dancers now dance on a lit platform. Gowon!one receives the crown (= agency, control over the story) from Yves; the mental pioneer who simply dreamed of new things steps down, and now the real "one" gets to explore instead of imagine. (Side Note A, Part 2: Interestingly, what Gowon eats is not the apple but a friggin *pine*apple, which I just love. Because the reality behind the fantasy-the actual forbidden fruit instead of the conceptualized-is different!) (Side Note B, Part 1: I'm also not above suggesting that the seven dancing shadows in those horizontal dance scenes are specifically seven as reference to the seven cardinal virtues/sins-and how they're all just shades of the same singular being. Notice that the pre-crown dancing takes place in a narrow frame-literally a narrow frame of mind, for the narrow-minded!!! After the crown, we can actually see the dancer's faces, and the world, while still pretty black-and-white, definitely has more shades of grey in between.) *{4, Olivia Hye, "Egoist"}* But Gowon!one looks back at Eden, and she sees a piece of herself still left behind. We never quite lose the perspectives we come from, and they are always a part of us no matter how far we go. In this case, that part is Olivia. The one who is scared/reluctant to make the choice that was ultimately made; who feels betrayed by the parts of herself that seek to break free; who is more hurt by the truth of the outside world once they're all out there; who ultimately has to come to terms with what has happened. (Side Note B, Part 2: Now, instead of the seven dancing shadows over a soft-colored background and the narrow frame-of mind-we have seven dancing shadows over an intense, red background with maximum aspect ratio. Brilliant detail, BBC. Absolutely brilliant.) Up to Gowon!one's choice, we see Olivia's role as that of the detractor. The one who feels uncomfortable with leaving Eden and who is ultimately shunned as the decision is made. I think we've all dealt with that on an internal level too; where a part of us wants to hold us back from some big decision. In rejecting the nay-sayer in us, we do undeniably reject a part of ourselves, at least in that moment. In this case, the other three girls represent the larger part of "one" who guide her out into the world, even if there is still a piece of her stuck in the past. Of course, it's not a simple happy ending. In the story so far, our "one" and its three avatars were always chasing this outside source of light. (2:31 in "Egoist": "Our promises became the light.") As if it would provide all the answers and live up to all their imaginings (see: Chuu!one's happy fantasies of reaching Yves, the "new" stuff). The other videos weren't exactly all sunshine-even "Heart Attack" had its dark hallways going nowhere-but this is where we finally return to realistic scenery as seen in "new." Urban nights, ragged buildings, etc. However, where Yves' surroundings were still painted in a positive light, Olivia's are pretty heavy on the darkness. This is not the world she was promised. The pioneer (Yves), the dreamer (Chuu), and the learner (Gowon) are all behind her now; she has done the learning. Now, she has to do her own thinking about what she'd learned. Thus, egoist. "One" must teach herself now the most important lesson: how to love herself-not just a part, but the whole self. Jinsoul even says at 2:01 in "Egoist": "You are me, now I'm you." These conflicting forces within you are all you, all part of one being. The sin and the sinner are in this together, you feel? "On&on, you and me, the endless cycle. We can't be separated." And, for as long as we are humans with flaws, internal conflicts, and the capacity to wonder and seek new things, this story of "one" will continue in all of us, ad infinitum. So now, the choices are made. She has fallen and seen the light for her own eyes (0:53) as she found her way back up. Now, it is time to stop loving the light and love herself. In finding a new world, she found a new self-a new self that is undeniably still her. This is critical. The "one" who didn't want to leave Eden and the "one" who is forced to face that she did are both represented by Olivia, again to hammer in even as we change, we are us and we can find it in us to love ourselves. Especially in hardship, especially when the world turns on us. It is a lesson only we can teach ourselves. *{5, Heejin, "ViViD"}* Even if she is not part of yyxy's story, she is the beginning and the end of the whole LOONA saga for good reason. After all that Olivia said about loving herself, why is it that she faces Heejin at the end? Let's revivist "ViViD" real quick. In retrospect, the story of "ViViD" runs parallel to that of "love4eva" and then takes it a final step further past where Olivia's appears to end. "This world without any colors, it's boring. Would you change it with your fingertips? [...] I keep smiling all day, until my heart goes pounding." A decent summary of "new" and "Heart Attack" in just a few lines. We never even saw it coming. As Heejin, "one" has seen the story of "love4eva" play out countless times and is now comfortable seeking out new things. Not just one thing at a time, as the four-step story of yyxy portrays, but over and over and over! "Color me whole, with many colors." How about twelve colors, Heejin? One for each month of the year, one for every new story that we embrace and make part of ours? "I don't want to become numb to myself without the light." And so, the story of self discovery continues. There is always another light to follow, another future to believe in, another new self for us to learn to love. It is through these that life gains color (becoming "ViViD," as they say). So, take it as an invitation if you will, to accept the new things that will come with LOONA's continued exploration of unexplored territory and to welcome the color they bring to your life~!
*{SUMMARY}* So, in the end, this is all the journey of one person. Again, any person. Any of us. When faced with the unknown, we... 1. First, discover that there's more to be learned. Have *faith* 2. Then start wanting to learn more, even falling in *love* with the idea. 3. Now, we take the critical step of actually taking the reigns and doing the learning. If you believe enough in the future, it becomes *hope*. 4. Afterwards, we have retrospection, self-reflection, and possibly some *anger*, some sense of betrayal by what the truth really is (even wanting to return to our blissful ignorance) until at last, at last, we accept both the truth and ourselves. 5. Yay, we made it! Now, let's keep going and going~ You see the "[]" at the start of this video, where we usually see "[MV]" or "[Teaser]." This video is neither; it is just the story, however we wish to receive it. More importantly, it creates a space for those of us in orbit. We have a place in the story too, because the story is part of life at large. I don't know how much of this is true to BBC's intentions, but I do thank the girls and the whole production ensemble for putting in so much thought and hard work into these MVs. If they were aiming to herald a new standard for K-pop rich in meaning without losing the pop element, then I will happily toast them for their success. Not only did they craft a story here, but they also specifically chose one that belongs to everyone, fan or not. Thank you, LOONA!
Final Note: Life beyond LOONA's debut is going to be "new" and exciting enough to give us all "Heart Attacks" (hell, just the teasers got me like-), but it won't all go according to fantasy, and we should acknowledge that now. That doesn't mean we shouldn't go forth boldly, as Gowon ultimately did, but that does mean we will need to take a step back as Olivia did. To remember that before we give up, before we fling hate at other groups, before we do anything as fans of LOONA, we should remember who we love: ourselves and each others. It's cheesy as heck but so, so important. We are brought together by our love of LOONA, and we shouldn't lose sight of that. This community is only as healthy and supportive as we each resolve ourselves to be. I am happy and proud to be part of the Orbit community, but whether you participate in fandom or not, I hope some of the positivity and pizazz that LOONA has brought to me can reach you as well. Have a lovely, lovely day~! And now... //rewatches for the tenth time
guys... i think olivia imagined the other girls and that's why she was alone at the end of love4eva. not because they left her, but because they are just simply part of her imagination.
Basically, yves chuu and gowon never really existed they're just manifestations of Olivia's emotions, this is why in the last scene of love4eva when the teacher is clapping the rest of yyxy isn't there only olivia also why one of the scenes during the dance break in egoist when it flashes through the eden girls they're all wearing olivias outfit rather than their usual uniform. I belive that their individual mv's besides egosist might either take place in olivia's mind or the rest of yyxy can project themselves into the real world and that's why they're able to interact with the other members. However if they do take place in olli's mind then that means none of the loona girls besides her are real. That's all i got folks!
It's really interesting, because this is similar to another theory that all of the LOONA songs thus far have been the progression of a girl from falling in love, daring to ask out the person, and then being rejected-- in that sense, everybody shows Heejin's growth and Olivia is kind of like... final Heejin lol
Daebak Jjang tbh it's about time, it's kind of annoying showing all this stuff that international fans couldn't even see unless we watched it illegally.
wowpil "your god person puts an apple tree in the middle of a garden and says do what you like guys. oh but don't eat the apple" is the tea given the tone of the writer.
I feel like it's less tea and more a tonal choice. I don't think they were making any stance/statement on the story of Adam and eve as much as just using it to supplement their own art. Thus the last phrase "I don't need no garden of Eden"
1) why is the title "one" 2) this "takes place" before Egoist but after love4eva/one&only 3) this confirms olivia Hye leaves Eden out of anger. 4) what is [] 5) Olivia Hye is the "one girl"
Loona is a subtle yet mysterious recreation of a series of events that, combined altogether, create the quintaessence of something magical beyond this world. The kind of art they create is simply attractive. Another great job♡
If you're not a Loona fan, this is a scene for the LOONAVERSE, a big and complex history unfolded only by their MVs scenes and musics, leaving the deduction of the actual plot to us, fans. This is the first one without an actual original music. If you are a Loona fan... I feel you.
I'm thinking that this is about them separating into one individual. They were trained in Eden to be one, one type of person, one kind of girl, eacg girl perfect in the exact same way. but they, starting with Yves, each choose the path that leads out of the Garden, towards their imperfect individual selves. Ending with Olivia. I think the emotions, the faith, love, hope, anger, are supposed to be the emotion that drives them to seek that alternate path in the first place. For Chuu, it is her love for Yves. For Olivia, it is her rage over being left behind. I find it intriguing that Olivia took the least steps in this clip. While Yves, Chuu and Gowon go for a bit of a gallavant through Eden, Olivia only takes a few steps towards the mirror and bites the apple - something the other girls didn't do either. Personally, I think this is implying that it's Olivia who will take the next step, and that those steps take place after her apple is bitten. Because her path to self discovery isn't over yet. All of this lines up with the theory that the next yyxy MV for their repackage will be about Olivia on the outside during Egoist, so! I hope I'm not too far off! Lol, the best part of being an Orbit is the theorising, it's just so much fun to really pick these things apart. If you know anything to add/substract from my theory plz let me know cuz we're all tryna figure out the same story!!
Oh, right, it should be noted that this clip is clearly signifying them walking the alternate path. They're all shown at different points in that same path, in order of who went that route first. So when Olivia finally reached the mirror to see her true self and bites the apple to accept it - the other girls are there waiting behind her as they had already arrived. Until, finally. One and together again.
I saw this as the Eden timeline in the first 8 girls perspective; the "real" story line. If you see this through the way the girls we're announced, Yves was the first to leave Eden. But if you see it through another lens and flip everything back to normal (from dlrowehtanool to loonatheworld) the video shows that Olivia was the first to escape eden and that she was never evil; the way Yves, Chuu, and Gowon were shown is evilesque and creepy.... Nothing like the way the story was introduced to us
Myorrin Times i guess the vid showed that the other 3 had already ate their fruits, and only after olivia does, they finally go with her. Like in luv4eva, olivia ate the fruit too late that she was left behind but biting the fruit still made her way to the girls. That "one" for me seems to mean - all of them finally ate the fruits, then finally have the same goal, to escape from eden.
They revived/used teasers as a wholesome experience to their media work as opposed to the common usage of teasers being a collage of mv scenes. They really are one of a kind and I suppose it’s hard to accept it’s an end of an era. Feels bittersweet to appreciate all their hardwork and to know their mistreatment to that awful company. I wish them happiness wherever they decide to go from here, they have marked their legacy and it’s evident today. 12 & orbit 4eva 🌕
BBC IS SO CREATIVE! what kpop group is so in depth with lore and have fan coming up with theories! There needs to be a book this is something id defiantly read
can we appreciate this MV? it’s actually one of the best shorts that i’ve ever seen. the way all the characters are simple yet mysterious... and, sometimes, mischievous. yves’ faith. chuu’s hope. go won’s love. olivia’s anger. all of that is well balanced and yet, not meant to be. these girls wanted to be themselves, but they always were the same person. a person who wants nothing but chaos. and this is how yyxy ends.
Okay, I JUST noticed this, but the ending DOESN'T read "I AM thou" it's "I AN thou" so could it be that it was a misspelling? Probably not. Googling this comes back a German book about human life finding meaningfulness through relationships. Which is like what almost all, if not all of LOONA's songs are about!? So "I an thou, thou art I" = "I and You, You are I" is "You and I, together, make me."
I have no clue what's going on so I'm just gonna thank BBC for giving us what seems to be the longest scene in the LOONA story so far. We finally have our scary unit. 😂😖😖

I'm blown away... This is perhaps one of the most artistic and slow moving videos for LOONA at this point, and it did everything I wanted it to, even before I wanted it to happen. This is incredibly shot, directed, and edited. YYXY, I'm ready.
Luke Taylor seriously i really want this in a movie
I don't really see what's artistic of a video playing classical music over a slow moving camera following the girls walk through a mansion. You're right that the shots and editing are beautiful, but "artistic" is a bit exaggerated. It's well produced.
Albdruck
and production isn't art?
Albdruck You know, art comes in many different ways
Albdruck, respectfully, the art is in how that combination of cinematography and soundtrack conveys meaning. You don't even have to take into account the nature of the art on the walls in that location they chose and the lyrics of the musical piece to get the _feeling_ they wanted to portray with the lighting and music and editing. On that level alone it easily qualifies as artistic because they made specific storytelling choices that went beyond "this looks good."
And then if you dig a little deeper into that art and those lyrics and the artistic choices get a bit mind-boggling. It all has meaning and ties into the story they're telling. That is absolutely "art."
Loona really deserve to win the best new girl group this year... They debut in a different way... They already famous before their official debut.. Like seriously do you agree with me??
Glennza Gelasius Everyone does
I agree! If they don't I'm gonna hit people with a pineapple
President Chenle Don't forget cherries and strawberries too!!!

Maybe she's not even really sad at the end of Love4Eva because the girls left... maybe she's sad because she wants to leave and that's what the whole video was about. The girls are a manifestation of her resentment of being trapped and having thoughts of escaping?
she's mad, not sad
there's a scene in egoist where she's angry, when she had like... red eyes? well, that's her being mad
Maybe they seen her as Sinner while they not.. It's already said.. Don't eat an apple.

( we thought that only one girl was lost in the forest, it's actually more )
anyway, you can say that egoist is actually a point of view of olivia hye.

Since Olivia was the only one actually dancing in love4eva at the end, its probably that only Olivia is at Eden
I dont even know anymore
Jesse idk bout that, but many ppl assume so after this clip. But then how does that make the story? After this after those 3 came out from eden(?)
muhammad vandy idk to be honest lol well have to wait until bbc releases something else

WOW
Surprising us orbits with THIS!! not mad!
---
Also, this is like an extra, just something that I'm not actually sure about but want to share with you.
This is great!
@@juzahyodo your mind............ this is brilliant
The opera in this video is german and Eva is also the german version of Eve.
About the Hebrew part - in Hebrew, Eve is actually pronounced differently then “Eve” or “Eva”, but the way it’s pronounced is in fact more similar to “Eva” (I’m fluent in Hebrew, it’s my native language). Hope I helped somehow :}
opera instantly reminds me of Haseul
mulan4ever14 that's Haseul singing
mulan4ever14 that’s what I was thinking
They're foolish if they didn r use haseul for the opera music
they were all trained to be the "perfect girl of eden" (at this school? looks like a school) and to obey orders that were taught of them but one by one disobeyed and denied eden.
"Four identities, one girl." - they're all yves: 1) "eve/yves of eden" 2) she was the first girl of yyxy so was the first version of herself, the original one.
they all fell for yves in their mvs at some point and all sing about loving themselves (except chuu - she sang about yves - so herself) - how can they love yves but "are going to love theirselves instead"...unless they are all yves, so they are loving theirselves...because yves is the original version of them, yves/olivia are like the devil and angel that sit on your shoulders (olivia tried to stay obedient and do the right thing and yves is encouraging them all to disobey, yves also had innocent imagery and olivia was portrayed as the devil but...what if those were parallels to what they were?)
also choerrys teaser was released a year ago.

Daebak Jjang i noticed that was there tooooo.

i'm sooo happy rn
Also, the title of the MV - does it allude to the fact that the girls are actually "one"?
this killed a couple of my brain cells... I wish i was as smart as you :/
Tiene en común ciertas cosas con las teorías de BTS, si no que ellas son directas
You explained very well the video. This mv could be an analystic essay. Basically.
Someone pointed out that if you play with the letters of "one", you'll get "neo" which means "new" in latin. It's a fun coincidence since the cover of the video is Yves's back, "new" is her solo song stylized and written just like "one", in minimal letters. Also, the deutsch opera song alludes to your theory, it's called "The Secret Song" in english and the "secret" might be the lie that is Eden.
oh Dios mio
yooo I think I got it.
The song being played is called "Das heimliche Lied" or "The Secret Song"
Like how the world out of Eden was a secret? How heaven had secrets?
"I am thou, thou art me"
I am you, You are me.
(Translated)
There are secret pains
Whose lament is never tongued;
Borne deep in the heart
They are unknown to the world.
There is a secret longing
That always shies from the light;
There are hidden tears
A stranger does not see.
There is a quiet sinking
Into an inner world
Where peaceful meadows beckon,
Lit by the gleam of stars,
Where, all boundaries fallen,
The soul raises Heaven
And with jubilation
Confides its thoughts to the lips.
There is a quiet passing
Into silent, desolate pain,
And no one is allowed to see
That heavy-pressed heart.
It does not say what it needs,
And though it breaks with grief,
Tortured to death and bleeding,
The stranger does not see it.
There is a gentle slumber
Where sweet peace abides,
Where quiet rest heals the cares
Of the weary soul.
There is yet a lovely hoping
That soars above all worlds,
Where, open to another heart,
The heart lies filled with love.
LOONA is an amazing girlgroup, and thats the tea.

*{1, Yves, "new"}*
Yves may represent the "one" girl's curiosity and determination to reach the outside world-to find something "new," per se.
*{2, Chuu, "Heart Attack"}*
As "one" imagines the Yves persona, so distinct from her own reality, she becomes enchanted with the concept.
I really like BBC's take on this actually, in that the apple is not inherently sinful and the girl is not sinning for sin's sake; nothing is a sin until AFTER the fact, and that's kind of the tragedy.)
*{3, Gowon, "One&Only"}*
Of course, we know Chuu!one bites the apple.
Because the reality behind the fantasy-the actual forbidden fruit instead of the conceptualized-is different!)
(Side Note B, Part 1: I'm also not above suggesting that the seven dancing shadows in those horizontal dance scenes are specifically seven as reference to the seven cardinal virtues/sins-and how they're all just shades of the same singular being. Notice that the pre-crown dancing takes place in a narrow frame-literally a narrow frame of mind, for the narrow-minded!!! After the crown, we can actually see the dancer's faces, and the world, while still pretty black-and-white, definitely has more shades of grey in between.)
*{4, Olivia Hye, "Egoist"}*
But Gowon!one looks back at Eden, and she sees a piece of herself still left behind.
Absolutely brilliant.)
Up to Gowon!one's choice, we see Olivia's role as that of the detractor.
*{5, Heejin, "ViViD"}*
Even if she is not part of yyxy's story, she is the beginning and the end of the whole LOONA saga for good reason.
*{SUMMARY}*
So, in the end, this is all the journey of one person. Again, any person. Any of us.
When faced with the unknown, we...
1. First, discover that there's more to be learned. Have *faith*
Now, let's keep going and going~
You see the "[]" at the start of this video, where we usually see "[MV]" or "[Teaser]." This video is neither; it is just the story, however we wish to receive it.
And now... //rewatches for the tenth time
Carrot Missile damm this is deep
Carrot Missile omg ❤ Thanks for this
@Andrea Z: I blame LOONA
My theory is that yyxy is actually one girl but her personalities got split and that's how yves, chuu,go won and olivia came in the picture
Reagan Appolis TRUUUUUEEE
this is like one of the gaggiest loona had done in their career i miss them 😢
Loona is art ♡♡♡ Stan Loona Stream Sonatine
4 identities, 1 girl... So that's yyxy's secret... But who is the one girl?
Daebak Jjang watch it be yeojin 👀👀👀
Probably yeojin?
Yeojin!
Daebak Jjang YEOJINNN
Daebak Jjang its yves
guys... i think olivia imagined the other girls and that's why she was alone at the end of love4eva. not because they left her, but because they are just simply part of her imagination.
valerie omg. dude. genius.
valerie Can people stop mind blowing me for two seconds?
Omg it looks like the horror movie « The Marrowbone »
Wow WTF now theory that Yves, Chuu, GoWon are simply Olivia's imaginary friends suddenly makes sense.
valerie omg
haseul sounds so good here!
😂
Loona is going to be the Evangelion of Kpop...
OMG I SNORTED BUT NOW IM ACTUALLY CONSIDERING IT? TRUE AF
Oh shit, I can actually see that happening
Finally i can understand my hype for Loona
i hope it won't end the same tho
What is evangelion?
I think the same before! when 'love4eva' mv came out I was thought that yves, chuu, and gowon are Olivia elter ego
Or simply the girls escaped eden
wrong and dumb
Reagan Appolis bbc literally said this themselves on insta so no i'm right.
It's really interesting, because this is similar to another theory that all of the LOONA songs thus far have been the progression of a girl from falling in love, daring to ask out the person, and then being rejected-- in that sense, everybody shows Heejin's growth and Olivia is kind of like... final Heejin lol
Repackage?????SO WE DIDNT NEED THE LEAK AFTERALL!!!!!
Daebak Jjang what leak
Jordan Hornett this video was shown during their last cinema theory event and was leaked on twitter.
Jordan Hornett this video was leaked a couple days ago bc it was at loona concert in seoul
Busan, not seoul haha
Daebak Jjang tbh it's about time, it's kind of annoying showing all this stuff that international fans couldn't even see unless we watched it illegally.
who came her after that “x x” video dropped and is wondering if this will ever get released
#
okay but i love this so much
and the shade in the beginning shdskd tea
I don't understand. What was the tea??
I smell twitter stan
wowpil "your god person puts an apple tree in the middle of a garden and says do what you like guys. oh but don't eat the apple" is the tea given the tone of the writer.
I feel like it's less tea and more a tonal choice. I don't think they were making any stance/statement on the story of Adam and eve as much as just using it to supplement their own art. Thus the last phrase "I don't need no garden of Eden"
I like the tone too. It's like, who even wants to be a good girl, following silly rules that make no sense!
1) why is the title "one"
2) this "takes place" before Egoist but after love4eva/one&only
3) this confirms olivia Hye leaves Eden out of anger.
4) what is []
5) Olivia Hye is the "one girl"
Rcj. Queenie because olivia bite the apple for the first time... they became "ONE"
Olivia: r/notliketheothergirls 🤪 (jk I love u baby wolf)
i love this repackage MV~ a bop as always
The amount of ppl that don't know this masterpiece
A moment of silence
*this is my favourite movie*
Loona is a subtle yet mysterious recreation of a series of events that, combined altogether, create the quintaessence of something magical beyond this world. The kind of art they create is simply attractive. Another great job♡
I’ll need a new wig
ArianaGrande World ‘ same
BBC WE NEED A FEATURING OF HASEUL'S OPERA VOICE
This is the last pre-debut Loona “subunit comeback”, and then we finally get to see Loona perform as a whole group. Can’t wait!
UNRELEASED VIDEO FROM UP&LINE 😱😱
What just happened?!
If you're not a Loona fan, this is a scene for the LOONAVERSE, a big and complex history unfolded only by their MVs scenes and musics, leaving the deduction of the actual plot to us, fans. This is the first one without an actual original music.
If you are a Loona fan... I feel you.
Got slapped by LOONA 😂
Saotru thank you for feeling me
almost 3 years later and this is still the one of creepiest things out of the loonaverse if not, the creepiest

TaeTaedipity same xD
my kidney starts pounding again.... bad squishy bad squishy
i love your username
radium neem ayeeee thank you🙈💞
I'm thinking that this is about them separating into one individual.
They were trained in Eden to be one, one type of person, one kind of girl, eacg girl perfect in the exact same way.
but they, starting with Yves, each choose the path that leads out of the Garden, towards their imperfect individual selves.
Ending with Olivia.
I think the emotions, the faith, love, hope, anger,
are supposed to be the emotion that drives them to seek that alternate path in the first place.
The final scene looks like something out of a horror movie👀👀
I WASNT READY
lemme just pretend i didnt see the leaks
harajuku where are they??
lmao me
grace suzanne they were on twt
SAME LMAO
SAAAAME
this isnt even a mv and its trending in the uk since it came out we love legends
OMG!!! 😱😱😱
blockberry creative = skillful leaders in entertainment
jongdaeily they will be top 3 giant in the future... they know how to take good care of the girls
SeoJin Lee thats what you thought
lol
Thou hast acquired a new vow...
It shall become the wings of rebellion....
That breaketh thy chains of captivity...
Olivia = Persona 5 MC :P
LOONA X PERSONA, olivia can summon yves, chuu and go won as personas and go to the mirror world (TV)
Safi Ella lmao, it'd be fun 😂
Yoooo this is on some next level content. I played P4 before and 👌😍 Wish I could play P5 someday.
Omg I was thinking the same thing when I saw this 😂👌🏻
and i was writing a fanfic bout loona and p5
I just saw this from leak and boom! Thank you bbc, our loona yyxy looks so good and not blurry (from fancam 😅).
me too i still dont understood even its not blurry
I feel fooled, por a second i thought this das NEW material -.-
yea me too
i didn't even pass my math test, how do you expect me to understand tHIS
Okay, I JUST noticed this, but the ending DOESN'T read "I AM thou" it's "I AN thou" so could it be that it was a misspelling? Probably not.
Googling this comes back a German book about human life finding meaningfulness through relationships. Which is like what almost all, if not all of LOONA's songs are about!?
So "I an thou, thou art I" = "I and You, You are I" is "You and I, together, make me."
Are you telling this video also is related to You & Me together by Loona 1/3?😅
YOU AND ME TOGETHAAA
OMG I don't believe it
OH MY GOD GOWON IS STUNNING, WHEN SHE WAS STARING AT THE PAINTINGS I COULDNT STOP LOOKING AT HER, SHE'S A MASTERPIECE HERSELF
I have no clue what's going on so I'm just gonna thank BBC for giving us what seems to be the longest scene in the LOONA story so far. We finally have our scary unit. 😂😖😖
I am thou, thou art I
*tears off mask*
WAKE UP GET UP GET OUT THERE
