    Plotting a graph of change in current against distance between two electrodes
    Plotting a graph of disctance between two electrodes against change in current
    Is both the same? Is x-axis first?

    • @eliseliang9748
      @eliseliang9748 Месяц назад

      Typically we put the indep variable (distance between 2 electrodes) on the x axis and the dependent variable (change in current) on the y axis when you say plot current against distance, it means current is on the y axis while the distance is the x axis but if you write plot distance against current, that means distance is on the y axis and current is on the x axis.

      if it asks for a best fit line, u will always draw a straight line with a ruler. you’d draw a curve through the points freehand if it asked for a “best fit curve”

    • @KcoolCkat
      @KcoolCkat 5 месяцев назад

      I think the main reason is because between those two, those small curved volumes on the sides are very small between the levels compared to rest of empty volume between the levels. So, the small volume is neglibile to provide better accuracy.

    Ma'am, at 4:21, if the y axis labels (data) starts from the origin (0) then we can't draw a best fit line like u drew so we'll have to go with the original not best fit line?

    • @learntodayIGCSE
      @learntodayIGCSE  Год назад

      Sorry I don’t quite understand.
      Best fit line means , it’s a straight line that touches as many points as you can. And it’s okay to have some point above and below the line.

    how many past papers should i solve to bring A* in phy oct nov 2023 41 ? is it enough to solve 10 papers

    • @learntodayIGCSE
      @learntodayIGCSE  Год назад

      There is no fixed number of past papers you should complete for IGCSE. However, is it advisable to attempt at least 10 past papers? yes. This will help you understand the exam structure and practice your skills effectively.
      Doing them only is not enough. To learn from past papers:
      1. Review the mark schemes to understand the examiner's expectations.
      2. Reflect on your mistakes
      3. Revise and improve your understanding of the concept you’re unfamiliar with.
      I hope this advice helps :)

      I personally did it in 2 too but I think we have to do in 3 as to show them that 4 is a recurring number else I think we could use 2 s.f but then we would have to place a dot above 4 to show that it recurs.
