Dude, this was recorded only 2 years ago? This guy seems to still be using the sarcophagus. He looks surprisingly young... and now I have to check how he looked back then, because looking like this 20+ years later is quite surprising. Good genes, I guess, but likely also a healthy lifestyle. Impressive. 11:03 🤣🤣🤣 Oh, man... David actually brought the sarcophagus up. Awesome! 🤣
I came up with this idea a while ago. When the Jacksons were brought into the ER following the accident at the museum, Seth’s current host was also in the same ER, dying; possibly from old age (comparatively) given that he didn’t have access to a sarcophagus or other natural causes. Seth’s symbiote jumps to a nurse initially, and is acclimating to the new body. Seth doesn’t care for it; she’s short and old, Seth wants someone verile. A code goes out and a doctor barks orders at Seth’s host - the impudence. But in that moment, a gurney wheels in Daniel’s dad, in critical condition. He flatlines, the medical staff try to revive him. Seth looks the injured man over. “He will do,” Seth thinks. The staff fail to restart his heart though; the doctor calls time of death and a sheet is drawn over him. Seth, as the nurse, tells the doctor “she” will handle the paperwork on this one, as the medical team turn their attention to other hospital and emergency needs. Seth draws the curtain, lifts back the sheet; the symbiote leaps out of the back of the neck of the nurse; the nurse collapses from the shock to her system, and symbiote dives into the neck of the senior Dr Jackson. It’s tricky; lots of damage, some broken bones, internal bleeding, but first thing’s first; Seth gets the heart beating again, before turning its attention to the next most critical injury. Within half an hour, Dr. Jackson is stable. Twenty minutes after that, Seth swung his new legs, the fractures freshly mended and knitted, though tender, over the side of the bed. At that same moment the nurse was coming to. Seth stood, shakily, and helped her up. She’s disoriented, confused; unsure what happened. He explains that she was helping him after he was in a car crash with his elderly father, when she passed out. She apologizes, he says it’s alright. He asks her if she can check on his “father,” the old man on the other side of the curtain. She comes back a minute later, telling him she’s sorry, but his “father” had passed away. He asks her if he had his ring on him, as it was a family heirloom. She checks and brings back a ring, which he puts on. “It fits perfectly,” Seth thinks. He’s pleased at the new host he’s chosen. Flicking open a compartment on the ring, he releases a trace amount of Nish'ta, entrancing the nurse; she will become his first new acolyte.
I loved the Seth episode! I loved when Stargate got earthbound and the scifi was just hidden inside everyday life, and Seth found a great way to combine a Goa'uld with a relevant topic. Of course, SG-1 is not the show to go into too much depth, but within the general constraints of SG-1 as a fun action-adventure romp, they did a good job and respectfully handled the topic, even if the scifi resolution gives short shrift to the difficulty of dealing with brainwashing.
What's weird is I saw the stargate russian prime minister in a christmas movie "deck the halls" and he was a cross dressing policeman and he spoke like an American
Another sweet episode m8's but something is nagging at me, what if Seth was Daniels real father and another hiding out System lord in secret had a Harsissis child and had him raised by others or by hi completely and made the accident look like an accident they may look dead but like Teal'c have done on some occasions Kelno Reem, total fake out and go somewhere else to change up the profile Seth became a cult leader in the Northwest, and lady friend still living elsewhere, and Daniel surpassing all archeology classes like having an Tollan teaching quantum mechanics at a local college, Daniel read every piece of every cartouche like how me n you would read a highlights magazine with ease and him knowing practically all the mythological beings like family already, like how they studied up on Seth Daniel had an odd look on his face of do i know him and started to talk about how he would hide out on earth and kept changing his name, it is just a theory but a nagging feeling like how sherlock Holms would get a feeling and investigate, just so many layers to look through, also by the looks of it Seth always threw caution to the wind and did not care for rules, oh my gosh why Hathor really wanted Daniel for many reasons oh gigaroo and used Jack to make Daniel want her more that pheromone she used would mess up any guys head unless he was gay and tell her your so barking up the wrong tree Lady, also that guilt of him after the hatchlings got roasted and the black substance left over he felt guilt but sadness too.
Seth is life
Seth is happiness
Seth is almighty
AGAIN!
"...We're always happy to welcome new deciples to the bliss that only Seth can bestow "
I never knew the same actor played both those roles! I think it's the mark of a good actor when they're unrecognisable.
Indeed such a great actor through and through
