  • In this video, I am showing how I created a Chanticleer garden inspired floating floral display for my patio.
Chanticleer Garden is located 30 miles outside Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in the US. It's an amazing garden filled with hand crafted garden furniture, unique plant combinations, and tons of artistic touches. So much inspiration packed into one garden.
It was at Chanticleer where I saw an incredible patio water feature. The gardeners fill ceramic pots with water and create floating floral displays. I knew I wanted to try making one as soon as I got home.
I hope you find this video helpful. Thanks for watching.

Oh my gosh...it is like a fantasy world. I absolutely LOVE that garden. The Tea Cup garden is probably my favorite area. I love how they change up the planting scheme every season.

So cute! I love the floating Rose of Sharon! How long did they last/stay floating? For the day?

Hello Sue, I just discovered your channel, and I am truly enjoying it! I do have a question...the Rose of Sharon flowers you placed on the floating garden look like the flowers on a flowering shrub I have I my garden which I would love to prune into a tree. Do you know if this can be done? My shrub is called BLUEBERRY SMOOTHIE ALTHEA.

Hi Sandra and thanks for watching. I do not have a lot of experience pruning rose of sharon trees. The trees I have along my side yard were purchased and I believe they are grafted. That said, I am in the process of training a seedling tree to grow into a tree form. It's similar to the way you prune a lilac into a tree form. I believe it can be done, but I am not an expert. I'll let you know if my experiment works.
