The amount of sparkles grow the longer you wait. That saves you from using too much of the battery looking for the sparkles. You should also pause in place and look for the sparkles instead of just moving till you do

so i did this before myself, except at intersections where you can see alot of walls i would stop moving and look around as to save my battery and click on the big blue rocks as they do the most dmg to the surrounding area and use bomb at the end but this helped clear it up and told me i was doing it correctly
love this channel so far, straight to the point and no annoying voice

My method:
Move to an intersection and wait 10 seconds. While waiting, look around for sparkles. They will still be in the same place even if they are not currently shining. That’s how I maximize my batteries. And when I’m actually excavating, click on the blue ones first. They’re actually the weakest. Just click around until you find fossils. Use dynamite when necessary but only at the end.
