No movie needed when you just lived through it. As for movies, there have been literally hundreds done on the topic, in order to prep you for the real event, which wouldn't have been possible otherwise.
In 1793, the pandemic came at a most fortuitous time dispersing the British funded riots which the government barely survived.

Good lesson for what is happening today. Whether good or bad, history is history. Today people are trying to destroy it. We can never judge history by today's standards. History is so important for us. It should never be erased because the narrative is offensive today. That's not it's purpose. We learn from history. We learn from the good. And it helps us to not repeat the bad.

If someone is black and born in America, then the person is a black American even though the black part should not be considered important to the person's status as a citizen but to the person's description in times of identification.

Incidentally, while Spanish Flu was wreaking havoc, Philadelphia decided to ignore health advice in 1918 and hold a Liberty Loans parade, while other cities in the United States were introducing social distancing. Philadelphia was one of the hardest hit cities due to that. It was said that the dead filled the streets, with no one left to bury the dead and no one left to build coffins.

+Valerie Chico You got that right plus the treatments for ailments like this and others weren't all that great. Aside from bloodletting there were other treatments that were way worse such as having someone ram a hot poker into you and others. Doctors were very much left to be skipped back in the past especially in this time and you just took your chances with quack cures.

Also the responses during this time were nuts including shooting a gun in the air. Now this would be useless and nuts but in the epidemic it made sense and you'd also see people wearing lots of flowers in cases too. Since people back then don't have info on viruses like we do now. No flush toilets then and life expectancy short. You wouldn't want to be living then.

God's punishment on the wicked, all the major colonial giants. It's spiritual. 1720, 1820, 1920, 2020. Back for the generation that were spared but never kept their promises. Black victims were the dedicated helpers/nurses and those that were experimented.
(Everytime the blacks reach out desperately to their ancestral god) the most high God is in charge of all. The blood reaching out, just like the story of Cain and Abel. You won't repent, Blood/DNA speaks louder, has invoked ...You introduce God, the Bible-Jesus Christ; Every Word of God in the Bible was taken and learnt seriously by those slaves. The Power and
Justice of God Lord Almight is real. Time for the left wicked generation, the elderly. You used and called Him for selfish reasons, then rejected Him; Vanity upon Vanity. Apocalypse.
