If any of you had any type of sort of clue Manson got ideas of sound for Numan.Hence why Manson made a re-make of "Down in the Park." So what if Gary gets insperation from Manson or NIN,both really good bands.Also,Gary Numan has be around WAY before Manson or NIN.His sound has just changed over in time,because its not the 80's anymore.
1st Single should be "Halo" or "Slave", maybe will be next one. But I like it, it's cool, that blue is weird :) But it's not my favourite song from, new, "Jagged" album. Wondering, what will be on next album...
Nope I'm not on crack. I just think Numan is imitating Marilyn Manson and NIN...and both have said that Numan influenced them. Now he sounds like they do. Seems pretty obvious to me. I'm not one of those people who think Numan should go back to his old sound but I would like to see him change direction. His options are endless. With this whole 'angry dark industrial' sound and image he's just painting himself into a corner.
WSorry but seing Numan, Kraftwerk, DAF, John Foxx plus others I can mention but especailly Numan single handely poineered the dark electronic Industrial music thing way back when NIN & Marylin Manson were schoolkids I say you are on heavy crack

No sorry I I was having a go at Arsehat , he was some wanker who just was slagging Numan off all the time almost every video on here , but I see RUclips took Arsehats comments off and left mine one LOL no I think Gary Numan is cool

This song could have been released on any of his last 3 albums. This would have sounded fresh back in the late 90's, but not now.

his sound is unique cheesedik, the closest other band is nin but thers still a huge difference in manipulation

Maybe he sounds like NIN, but this old, good one, Not the newer, poor With Teeth. Jagged is an excellent piece of dark matter.
I think these days he sounds too much like the people he influenced! NIN, Marilyn Manson.
I'd love to see him move in another direction. The goth/industrial thing is just tired.
