Awesome place to stay. I camp on islands in Rainy Lake using my 16' fishing boat for transport.
Excellent fishing too.
Phenomenally powerful display of the forces of wind, water and earth colliding.
We from the Northland are always met with disbelief at our propensity for driving on the ice. It makes us chuckle.

Driving on the ice is not something you can do in Colorado. Except for very few shallow mountain ponds.
