For helmets you can go with Kira too. A lot of res, CBF and -15% enemy fire resistance and for the gloves bis will be hellmouth -15% enemy fire resistance will be better than +1 fire skill of course if you have 105 fcr breakpoint
It probably doesn't make a big difference in overall damage. At lower lvl I would take fireball as your secondary dmg skill. If you get to like lvl 90 you can probably max hydra first or try to keep them at the same lvl until they maxed out

The build stays the same even if you don't have an Infinity but without you're restricted to farm specific areas like Stony tomb, cows and maggot. Some people mentioned that you can farm maps without Infinity with a strong merc but I did not tested it. Before I got my Infinity my merc used a insight. You can also go with an obidience for more damage or use a act 5 merc with like full ik set. I read that they do insane damage
So funniest thing after seeing this video and your cow runs video I reset my hybrid sorc and went all fire. Started wrecking hell cows like a boss and on my second run I find a Ber rune haha. Now just gotta get that second one and make my infinity

Since I was mostly looking for a fast map clear I picked the aoe hydras. The single target hydras will work too for sure if you wanna be more single target focused.
@@skillz_4043 yeah but did u try them ? i might respec soon (and im out of respecs) and i got the singel target ones cuz i went the other approach thinking they most liky only clear singel mobs that still stand after 1-2 combustions. im kinda just asking to save me a respec if u tryd both maybe. (cause i only know how this one feels)

@@lolleonlolable Allrigth I tried it. I wouldn't recommend going with lesser hydra. Clear feels a lot worse and the little boost in single target is not worth it imo because you will pretty much only need it at the boss

You definitely right. The armor's you listed are definitely viable too. I think with all the new corruptions you can get there are so much options you can go on different gear slots that I just name some examples here that works.

I gave up and try a barb which so far is a breeze compared to the sorc (though still into nightmare content). I have normally levelled (no rush) most of the characters I have played all this time (been playing since 2000) and this is the first time I see the sorceress in such a bad shape. Diablo is a solo game and no matter how much they try to push the grouping agenda in P2D it's a straight up wrong due to the looting system.
@@bouss1 I played a combustion sorc in SP while the servers were down and farmed nightmare cows until I had some basic runewords and could farm Act2 Stony Tomb and Maggot Lair pretty easily to build up gear. I leveled with hydra / Frozen Orb and had no problem getting to act 2. Then I started to farm Mephisto in Hell and got my hands on more endgame gear.
@@skillz_4043 Same here, you can clear Stony tombs in hell at like lvl 55 with very basic gear, just teleport past everything in hell. I respecced into frozen orb/hydra for act 4 and 5. Worked wonders, thanks for the guide.

That's not completly true. I played this build on my plugy sorc and she did fine in Stony Tomb and Maggot Lair with pretty much no gear. Also you can farm mephisto easiliy if you have a decent geared merc. You're right regardly maps. In maps this build performs not good without infinity.
@@gamingaccount8499 the conviction aura on Infinity reduces the resistance of a monster by a specific value. If the monster resistance is then under 100 it breaks the immunity. Since fire and cold have higher resistance in general then lightning it is less likely to break this immunities but it still works. Fortunately in maps Infinity breaks most of the fire immunes. I think there is like one monster type in each map which Infinity cannot break and these types are not that common.

did u try the singel target hydra too ? its alot more damage than the aoe one (btw verdungos is a pretty sick belt for that spec)

Why do you level up dex? It doesn’t block spells and eleaves you with low,hp isn’t it?
As far as I know dex blocks spells too. In my opinion the strongest defensive mechanic in the game

Because then we would need more points into strength to equip the shield which will yield to less life

I can't find where to get maps?
They drop randomly in Hell areas. You can open them in Hell act 5 by right clicking on the map. But you need to be at least lvl 75 to enter
