Why should girl feel ashamed if she is raped, its not her mistake, its the society which look at the girl in a wrong way. Shame on the men who do this crime.
I am from Hyderabad, Telangana, my wife is a victim of sexual harassment in her own office. I have been fighting for justice for more than 3 years but no justice in sight. The system is supporting that fellow.
Heart touching interview...kshama ko aur unn ke dono bete ko bahut sara pyar ...courage and love go hand in hand and the world is still beautiful for people like them. God bless you and thanks to Barkha for bringing this out and sharing with us
proud of aman... be brave, be best man... god bless. Shamaji we all love you, please live your life in the best possible way because it is not your fault
Well said Aman, we should educate men how to respect everyone. Not only men but women also don't play Women card please. If u talk about equality you have to be honest with everyone. Then u can ask for equality in this world.
Incredible story. I am a griwn man with tears in my tears that the son would find his mother and seek justice for her all the time knowing, that everyone will know their story.
Her story is covered in detail in Newslaundry website, dated August 2022. They changed her and her son’s name in the article to protect their identity. This lady comes from Muslim background and her rapists also are from the same community. Her second husband (now divorced) is also from the same community. Either she has changed her name to Kshama Singh or still using a pseudo name.
@rb5177 what does this even mean? U mean this doesn't happen in Hindu, Christian or Sikh communities ? Or you came here to disgrace a particular community?
Where is the need to change the Muslim name to Hindu name. It happens in all communities. It is a pattern to give Hindu names to both victims and predators.
Please, I request all Girls to help boys who has been gone through same experience and still there is no law for punishment of otherside gender people who have done same crime with small boys of below age 13 , please atleast they need a single candle march please🙏.
The crime even though similar is physically never the same. For girls its lifelong physical consequence. It can rupture your body or lead to pregnancy.
Never the same???? What kind of horrible ignorant disgusting comment is that??? I suggest you educate yourself so that you don’t say such horrible hurtful things to victims of horrible unnatural crimes and RE-VICTIMIZE n MARGINALIZED THEM ok!!!!! .......A person pleading for the acknowledgment of horrible psychological and physical crimes of small boys that ruin their lives and cause them a lifetime of victimhood, suffering, gender confusion, timidness or creation of monsters in these little boys as they grow into men and you say, in essence,....“there is no life long consequences bc you cannot reproduce so move along, your pain/suffering is LESS than a girl’s?” That is insensitive mean and greedy!.......You should hope that you’re never on the receiving end of such a mean comment as yours
If English subtitles are added it can reach a greater audience around the world. This story must be told so the stigma of raoe goes away and justice can be obtained. Please add the English subtitles!
Bravo 👏 to the lady and her son. Why should the woman only face this all, why is it shameful for the woman, and the man and his family behind the scene is living his life freely. This has to be changed in India also.

For her children’s sake , should have not asked her to display her identify From behind a screen was enough Children are sensitive She was such a little child So many children go through this
It's very painful yet Shama came and spoke. It takes courage to speak for which i salute her. After so many years one could still see the pain she suffers. What the son said is what every mother must do. Teach your children to respect women. Only then will we see rape cases drop. And if your son ever rapes do not shield him. Let him know he has to face the consequences of his actions.
Sub titles please However base on the comments I want to salute the mom and her children Thanks to her son who got justice for her may he enjoy the blessings of God God bless
