Pedro is the perfect film buddy. Pretty much his entire list was made up of films that I’ve either seen or are on my wish list. He’d be a great cinema date. I can imagine enjoying the movie even more just from his reactions
this is one of his best interviews i just love when actors kind of have their space to talk about things they enjoy or like other than interviewers asking about what’s their favorite color for the millionth time
You can tell by his list is that he is a fan who just loves movies, not a “film connoisseur”. Having Cape Fear, Milk and Die Hard on the same list is awesome !❤
Didn't think it was possible to love him even more, all of my favorites! Especially American Warewolf, Cape Fear and Do the Right Thing. And that bit from Dog Day Afternoon... oh and he's also a Harrison Ford fan? I'd love to have a drink with Pedro and talk movies.
@The Lord of Entropy I must have seen Blade Runner a least 30 times. Such a comfort movie. I hope to see Pedro in a really good film one of these days, I know he appreciates them so why not star in one. Pretty sure he'll be getting those roles soon because of all this traction in his career. Let's face it, he can do much better than the movies he's starred in so far.
A American Warewolf remake with Pedro Pascal (With practical effects ONLY) is a remake I approve of 😩 Starring opposite Oscar Isaac as the undead best friend 🧟♂
Why remake a movie which still holds up to modern standards? Why not take Pedro Pascal's skill on a new project inspired by AWIL instead of a direct remake?
Its crazy to hear him say that about blade runner, because I had a similar experience with the sequel in the cinema. Id become jaded in my adult years, thinking I already had my best cinema experiences behind me as an impressionable kid. But blade runner 2049 blew my tiny mind. Its criminal to watch that movie on anything other than a huge cinema screen with booming audio
The Shining is a good one. Doesn’t necessarily jump into my head when I think favourite films but by far one of the most well made movies I’ve ever seen
Die hard is for me the greatest action movie ever. And believe I have seen every great action movie. The shining is the greatest horror movie of all time despite not being a horror movie. Two amazing picks by pedro sir.
I felt the same way about Juliette Lewis in Cape Fear. I was like "who the hell is this actor? She's great." That first scene she has with DeNiro is one of the most natural performances ever.
For sure. It never fails to impress me how Kubrick tackled a different genre in each movie and those turned out to be some of the best movies in their respective genres: The Shining, 2001: a space odissey, Fullmetal Jacket, etc
@@LPChipi because most of them are not his works and he just adapts a book which he never wrote? The shinning, clockwork orange, lolita, full metal jacket?
@_V_ So? Most of the books he adapts end up unrecognizable. You can say that for so many different movies (ie: The Godfather). Also, if you think movies are a story and not how that story is told, then you're mistaken, I'm afraid yo say. Each genre has its own language, its own requirements in storytelling, and Kubrick understood that like no one else.
@@LPChipi yh Coppola is another joke, his two major movies the godfather and apocalypse now are both book adaptations. It's very simple, having a source material to follow is much easier than doing it from scratch, if you can comprehend this, you are mistaken, I'm afraid to say. Each genre has its own language, thats true, but the language is clearly readable from the book...so what's you point? He comprehends a book and knows how to portray it? There are many directors which are either on his level or above and off course more original than him. His truly original movies are 2001 which he made, eyes wide shut or Spartacus, the shinning was disliked by Stephen king himself and from reviews since I haven't read the book, apparently it isn't as good, so he adapted it worst off than the original and you call it one if the best of the horror genre, when is not even scary?
Hello there thanks for your genuine love and support on my career, I was just going through my RUclips page and came across your comment and I decided to write you back hope you don't mind💓💕💞❣️❣️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Great list and of course personal taste. I would like to add Ghostbusters 1, Terminator 1, Predator 1, Aliens, Fellowship of the Ring and the Green Mile
@@markozbunjol625 You're wrong. Alien is a straight up SCIENCE FICTION movie, because it takes place in outer space, and The Omen is a supernatural thriller, not a freaking slasher movie featuring "Jason." Get your genres right.
I saw Candyman in the theater sat between my GF and her sister. They almost gave me a heart attack when they both jumped in their seat at a jump scare,.
I hope he does a Coen Brothers movie some day. I feel like he could get their tone down really well. He can be serious and funny sometimes at the same time.
American werewolf in London!!! One of my fave movies. I saw it when I was 8 and it both thrilled and terrified me . Also being British I enjoyed the werewolf lore being in the uk !
Hello there thanks for your genuine love and support on my career, I was just going through my RUclips page and came across your comment and I decided to write you back hope you don't mind💓💕💞❣️❣️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Can't believe Paddington 2 wasn't on the list.
Under rated comment. Him and Nic Cage crushed in that movie
Literally was looking for this exact comment.
Was waiting for Paul Blart 2. That’s a cinematic masterpiece.
Such a funny movie! I love the tripping on a wall scene.
Paddington 2 made me want to be a better man
Pedro is the perfect film buddy. Pretty much his entire list was made up of films that I’ve either seen or are on my wish list. He’d be a great cinema date. I can imagine enjoying the movie even more just from his reactions
this is the quietest i've seen him in an interview yet lmao
He doesn’t want to awaken the books 📚
estaba en Chile, por su eso su paz 😊❤
this is one of his best interviews i just love when actors kind of have their space to talk about things they enjoy or like other than interviewers asking about what’s their favorite color for the millionth time
Something like Vogue having 2 interesting questions out of 72.
An interview involves 2 people genius
You can tell by his list is that he is a fan who just loves movies, not a “film connoisseur”. Having Cape Fear, Milk and Die Hard on the same list is awesome !❤
I love how he has so many horror movies in his top 10. Werewolf & Shining are both in my top 10 as well.
He has amazing taste in movies. Must be why he makes such great choices.
Good agent❤
didn't think i could love Pedro anymore then he mentions my favourite film Blade Runner
What a dude. Ever since seeing Pedro in GOT his performances have been such fun to watch. Respect for having Milk on the list. Great movie
I want to watch movies with him and hear everything thought he has about them
@Pedro Pascal omg !! Really???!!! You picked me for a scam?????!!!!!!! Oh, Pedro! You shouldn't have 😭😭😭😭😭🥰😘
So much respect for him highlighting masterpiece movies like Do the Right Thing and Dog Day Afternoon.
and Bridesmaids
Terrible movies, both of em
@@jackburton2680 Yea Dog Day Afternoon is a terrible movie...sure...got it
@@jackburton2680 dog day afternoon is not terrible in the slightest lol, bet you haven't even seen it.
He’s apparently a big horror movie fan. I love that!
It's as if he and I grew up together and he was in my weekend movie crew. I like him even more because of his choice of EPIC films.
Bro can't believe he doesn't actually like Paddington 2 or the cabinet of Dr calligari
Pedro's movie taste explains why he's legendary for picking winning horses. Pascal almost exclusively stars in fantastic films and series.
Well now, having a movie marathon weekend with him would be fun! These movie choices are fantastic, and I love these movies.!
What more to love from this man?
Didn't think it was possible to love him even more, all of my favorites! Especially American Warewolf, Cape Fear and Do the Right Thing. And that bit from Dog Day Afternoon... oh and he's also a Harrison Ford fan? I'd love to have a drink with Pedro and talk movies.
Right?
American werewolf cape fear and milk for me

Who isnt a harrison ford fan?
@Jonathan Birch Give us your top ten if you don't mind.
A American Warewolf remake with Pedro Pascal (With practical effects ONLY) is a remake I approve of 😩 Starring opposite Oscar Isaac as the undead best friend 🧟♂
I'm down with that. And they should stay away from CGI during the transformation. (Okay, maybe a little bit CGI)
Absolutely not. AWIL is The Godfather of werewolf movies.
Why remake a movie which still holds up to modern standards? Why not take Pedro Pascal's skill on a new project inspired by AWIL instead of a direct remake?
Smart casting ❗️

*2049 👍
@@reniisgod right, thanks!
His movie choices are phenomenal
Excellent taste in movies, Pedro. ❤️🎬
Cool to know that Pedro and I share similar taste in film.
He's so loveable. And a great actor too. And he loves Die Hard. What is not to like
He's got fantastic taste in movies. What an amazing man he is!
I said exactly the same thing.
Yeah, and he supports Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro, he is a POS
Thought it was pretty basic for a man his age. Plus Milk and Bridesmaids.
Love, love, love his voice😊
He has a great taste 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🖤🖤🖤
We all know Paddington 2 is secretly his number 1
Great all around genre list! Not a pretentious, predictable & safe top 10. Movies end of the day are about entertainment. Mix of everything here.
Dam. He hit all the classics! Great movies! 👍
I love you Pedro.
My god, not only is he a phenomenal actor. But his taste in movies is chefs kiss 👨🏻🍳 💋
That man is absolutely perfect, he has amazing tastes in movies !
Need more of these with other actors! Loved it 👍
Excellent choice of wine sitting beside him. casillero del diablo…. Meaning Devil’s cellar… named to scare people away from stealing the wine.
Pedro and I like the same movies.
The Shining is a good one. Doesn’t necessarily jump into my head when I think favourite films but by far one of the most well made movies I’ve ever seen
Didn't expect him to be quite the horror fan. Delightfully surprised.
Die hard is for me the greatest action movie ever. And believe I have seen every great action movie.
The shining is the greatest horror movie of all time despite not being a horror movie. Two amazing picks by pedro sir.
The greatest action film is Schwarzenegger picture and there’s no debate
@@cellardoor4189 I would honestly put Commando right up there with Die Hard as one of the best action films. I love that movie.
Do The Right Thing is my favorite film. Glad Pedro thinks it’s up there too.
Each movie on this list is also on my husbands list of favorite films....i knew there was a reason I was so attracted to Pedro Pascal...
Attica! Attica! Attica! Great choice 💯
I felt the same way about Juliette Lewis in Cape Fear. I was like "who the hell is this actor? She's great." That first scene she has with DeNiro is one of the most natural performances ever.
Talking about Cape Fear and not talking about the fact that DeNiro’s carrying the whole movie. Check !
I really like his list, especially Blade Runner, Scorsese's Cape Fear & The Shining.
The Shining is seriously one of the greatest movies of all time
Wow thats a hot take

Mind blowing list, Oberyn
The man has some great taste in movies! A lot of those would be on my list, too.
I appreciate his list
Bridesmaids is so underrated. That movie is so funny
Great list and of course personal taste. I would like to add Ghostbusters 1, Terminator 1, Predator 1, Aliens, Fellowship of the Ring and the Green Mile
I wanna watch movies with this dude.
I want to see a longer version of this like Top20-50 or him explaining his favorite line, scenes of these movies
I respect that the big lebowski does not require an explanation or justification. The dude abides.
AWIL is my all time favorite movie! I was so happy to see this come up! 🎉🎉🎉
Nice to see one of these lists that isn't all Kurosawa, Bergman and Fellini.
Excellent choices, I love this man even more so now 🔥 ❤️
Dog Day Afternoon will hold a special part in my heart. It was the last movie I watched with my Dad on Christmas day 3 months later he died suddenly 💔
we need another Blade Runner film starring Pedro
And a bottle of Casillero, class act.
Glad he mentioned Alien and The Omen, two of the best thrillers ever made.
they are horror movies, not thrillers

Casillero del Diablo! Vamos Chile!!!!! (Gringo living in Chile)
I saw 7 out of 10 of those and have to admit he has good taste in movies... going to have to check out the other 3.
I’d forgotten about Milk. So good.
To see both Bridesmaids and The Shining in someone's top 10 list. Pedro, you're wild. A lot of good movies in there though.

to go from seeing do the right thing with giancarlo esposito to then later on in life acting with him must be a trip
Great pics for a great night in :) Some of my favorites...I'd have to add Fight Club and The Godfather

A great video clip fantastic movie 🎬 list . Looking in from Ireland 👌 🇮🇪
Best new Actor in the game, the one to compete against!
Yes for Cape fear omg !!! So underrated
This man has good taste.
No surprise here, nothing pretentious, just iconic films. Best remake for me was The Thing, at the time this was a scary film.
Love the fact he has a bottle of Chilean casillero del diablo next to him 😂
Do The Right Thing is one of the most essential American movies of its time.
Sean Penn in Milk is one of the top 5 most impressive performances of the last 20 years
I'm 34 and we have the same tast in movies. Super cool. Who knew.
I think he's my older sisters age.
He seen, Do the right thing in theaters! Cool!!!
These are awesome picks!
I hope he does a Coen Brothers movie some day. I feel like he could get their tone down really well. He can be serious and funny sometimes at the same time.
BRIDESMAIDS LOL. That was out of nowhere.
Running to watch every thing on this list
This guy really seems great.
