As a kid me and mi pals use to play in the Scotholme pub yard.. swinging on the heavy steel bar holding the gate shut..I was born in a Shipstone's brewery house ..and from the bottom of Wilkinson street use to use Shipstone's Star clock ... time to go home..Then in 1968 I emigrated to Australia
Bloody memories of the alfreton road pubs. It was uniquely Nottingham or should I say Radford lads to try and have a pint in every pub on the road. Don’t know anyone who done it.
