Now, "older-and-wiser", it just breaks my heart.

One of the saddest scenes in the film in my opinion. Throughout the film, Jonathan burnt a candle to his wife who was taken away by a coporation. Finally having to come to terms that she was no longer on his side forced him to put out that candle.
