How come on rising star they tried to make it look like they picked out a "random" girl from the audience and it was her and she just so happens to already have professional like videos and stuff
They didn't, she had auditioned (by sending in the video) but had not got a reply because they knew she was watching the show. She was then told when the show was on that she would be performing, I guess it made it more dramatic.

of course it was fake. its scripted, live TV. they just knew she was just sitting in the audience and than assume on live tv she will go on stage and sing ? how would they of even known she was there, its live tv they would never do something that risky, and come on, it was so obviously fake
***** They knew she was there because it was part of her prize for the Instagram contest. That doesn't mean that Macy herself knew that she was chosen to go on stage. They told her that she would be watching the show now participating in it originally.
