There is absolutely a faith element in value investing. Tough to argue.
It's similar to the faith element in science: the belief that inductive reasoning based on past observation will provide accurate knowledge of how the world will work in future. It's worked pretty well so far.
@@GaudiumEssendi well put
"If you like everything in your portfolio you are not diversified". This is absolutely 100% correct but it's a lesson that many people don't understand.
According to a guy I met who was close to the Seattle Seahawks, the goal line stats for Marshawn Lynch in 2014 was the reason they passed instead of running it in SuperBowl XLIX
Amazing episode! Even though I don’y agree on all, I really love Jason’s thoughtful perspectives

AI segment was right on.
if a hundred years of data is fed in an AI it may not have the Spanish flu but it will have several similar flu occurring in Asia and the SARS epidemic from 2002 and a few others in North America from the 1960's. There's also the outbreaks of Poliomyelitis, cholera, yellow fever, meningococcal disease and measles on the African continent there's also Dengue, Cholera and Yellow Fever in South America.
Faarrqq! Might as well have been talking Mandarin talking about all the vol stuff
