Being an Indian I am so proud that the founder of the Soneva chain of hotels is of Indian origin. The star attractions of this lavish villa are the retractable roof, the sustainable material with which it is built, the outdoor bath, (imagine having a shower gazing at the magnificent Indian Ocean), the water slide allowing you to glide into the lagoon with a swoosh. How exciting can that get. Flying in a sea plane must have been a lifetime experience. What an affluent resort👌
I thought it was so cute how the man on the diving boat was helping the kid by holding his air tank, those things can be really heavy! My husband and I go diving everywhere we travel that is at the ocean, and we live at the beach so we love diving here too. I haven’t dived in the Maldives yet but it’s definitely on my list!
Can you imagine being in a place like that when you are about 10 years old like Patrick. What great fun it would be. These are indeed some of the best travel videos I have ever seen. I did not even know where the Maldives were before watching these.
A lot of these resorts weren't built yet in the 70's when I visited the Maldives. My vacation consisted of a lot of snorkeling and diving off our family yacht. Still though, the lagoons then we're exceptional. It would be nice now to return and enjoy these resorts. It would be a great vacation. Thanks for your video's, it will make it easier to make a decision where to go.
