I've watched a few of your videos now and I really appreciate the fact that there's no annoying voiceover or cringey selfies and freaking out - just a really smooth film flow and soothing music. I sometimes play them in the background when I'm doing my yoga (because in my head I'm doing it at the resort! 🤷🏻♀️🙈😆). Bravo. 🙌🏻👌🏻

yes, I totally agree! these videos have been a god sent during lockdown! I've fallen asleep to them so many times. My favourite is Soneva Jani in the Maldives.

Its a warmish sunny Sunday here in Auckland NZ and we are stuck in Covid lockdown.
Watching this with the peaceful background music helps me relax and unwind, taking me back to such beautiful locations and helping me forget i have work in the morning ;)

It's a beautiful place, but there are some things that you expect to be a little better or cleaner. I'm talking about the pools.

Dr. LTE, I think you did a seamless job of integrating drone footage with the rest of your footage. For viewers who object to the length of your video, there's no law that says you have to watch it all at once. But I did--didn't seem like 2 hours to me. Although I found myself craving popcorn--lol. In response to your query, I love to buy jewelry on my travels to remind me of the places I've been. My latest purchase was a sterling silver ring, designed by Paloma Picasso, at Tiffany's NYC. It's a really SMALL ring--haha. Anyway, thank you for this magnificent visit to Soneva Kiri.

This resort is the pinnacle of relaxation and therefore, to me, is exactly what the doctor ordered. A month of relaxation at all Soneva resorts culminating at Kiri. This is how to start my retirement, exactly how I imagined it, spoiling myself at the start so as to enjoy these resorts at their best. Sonu and Eva, I applaud you both for your imagination and foresight. I am now going to view again and start planing. Well done to you and your family for a most interesting and informative vlog .

Wow...this Resort is incredible.
I've just checked the prices.
They are starting from around 1050 Euro/night in March (so far the cheapest month).
The "room" has a size of 4 4 8 square meter !!!! :-D
This is crazy.
Compared to other resorts ins similar tropical places in behalf of quality, accomondation and service, this is actually a very reasonable price for such an exclusive and luxury experience.
Normaly I do not watch videos that long, but this one I enjoyed a lot, thanks for sharing!

Just to let you no north east of Phuket Island is a unfinished boutique hotel built in a mangrove swamp.This property is haunted Thai locals will not work there hence the construction is not finished this was going to be the number one hotel in Siam.Ive visit Thailand every year with my job at Trailfiinders over 30 years now and I’ve stayed here a few times,has the essence of old Siam ,which is sadly lost due to new hotels being built for the western world,,,beautiful video as always...

I love wood but this is seriously a lot- it must get so hot during the heat of the day with all that undulating sun-bleached wood everywhere. No shade covers/umbrellas over those outside yellow cushiony things so it would get rather warm in those also.
With all that free ice cream/chocolate for the guests I could see myself arriving in a Bell jet ranger helicopter & being carted off in a Chinook at the end of a stay there!
The villa looked amazing but the pool's bottom could have have been painted blue to freshen it up & make it more appealing, looked a little shabby & dull IMO. Overall the experience looks delightful however, the north beach recreational spot was amazing- loved the hammock in the water. The restaurant dish description written on the leaves was incentive as was the honeycomb self service.
Loved the cinema, loved seeing it all actually....

Gee Cee I noticed that about the pool too, now that u mention it. But I suppose if I were there I would be too excited to dwell on it..and the Villa looks incredible at dusk for sure.

Fantastic resort, thanks for a great vid, my only concern: as a retired commercial builder in Australia, The motto "no news - no shoes" is a bit of a dangerous look.
The softwood decking throughout the resort is in a state of disrepair and not maintained ,in fact it looks worn out and a no shoes policy seems open to litigation, splinters from what looks like treated pine or equal would offer up toxic splinters that can become infected, It would be sandals for me.
i mean, are there any people that travel to these tropical resorts and NOT bring some sort of sandals?

Wow, just wow!! This really is a fantastic hotel, definitely one of the best!! I was well worth the 2 hours watch, only you can film it all this way, AMAZING!
I’m thinking the jewelry store is more for the show than people actualy buying something from there.
I also always wonder why all these luxury hotels have a library.. do people use it or is it also for the show..?
The 5 bedroom villa is so stunning and perfect! That treehouse is such a Nice touch with the waterslide, i’m sure the kids loved it!

Yes, this was a repeat visit. I have made a RUclips clip of Soneva Kiri before, but I believe I have somewhat improved my video skills since then and I am also using a better camera now. It's an amazing property indeed!
