  • They have this as a complete set with a power unit and they also sell the sander attachment separately for use with angle grinders.
I recommend the complete set because it comes with a 8.5A sensor feedback constant power variable speed polisher motor unit with a max RPM of 3200 which means it has a low gear ratio and the motor will not be excessively loaded when running at low speeds.
The attachment for the angle grinder is a low price but angle grinders run at 9000-12000 rpm and is really is way too fast for a sanding belt and will wear them out fast and cause surface burning and will be tough on the angle grinder because they have high gear ratios meaning the motor will have to work extra hard because of the large surface area and resistance a belt sander can have.

Really a nice set up, the only thing is the belts look a little iffy. It would have been nice if it had an attachment to clamp it in a vise. Great video Catus
    Thank you 😊

Honestly, the screws are fine. The tool isn’t going to fall apart because of these screws. Split washers aren’t really locking washers, according to NASA. But everyone uses them. About a year ago I bought a two wheel version. Not a Vevor. I didn’t want such bulk. It works fine, but getting belts for it is almost impossible. I regret getting that and am thinking of getting a three wheel model like this one for which belts are easy to get. I really only bought it to round the horn on my new anvil, but it seems useful for some other things. My 6 x 48 belt grinder moves at 5,000 fps. It really does move metal, but more industrial models will work well at those speeds. The motor is just 3450 rpm, direct drive. The 12” disk is just as fast. My two wheel model is also slow, like this one. These are really slow. 2,500 fps is a more normal speed for slow speed grinders/sanders.
