With the upcoming Five Nights at Freddy's Into the Pit game on the horizon, I realized that there was a major part of the FNAF lore in the original Fazbear Frights story that we overlooked. This is how the FNAF books solve the story of William Afton, Michael Afton, Charlie Emily, the Crying Child, the Mimic, Mrs. Afton, and pretty much the entire timeline.

The fact that this theory sounds as reasonable as a real fnaf theory is the best part.
Thing is, having multiple events happening at the same tie would explain a lot. Plus this game is ridiculous that an explanation like "using time travel to bring your past selves into the future" is 100% on the table.

I didnt really knew anything about into the pit teaser and was having a breakfast, so this theory went down suprisingly smoothly before I could finish my food and realize that this is unhinged as hell. I just started a video and you mentioned why springtrap looks different and it reminded me of a video I saw a while ago from Stormister from 5 months ago talking about why springtrap looks different from FNAF 3 and 6. the theory basically says after springtrap is constantly being lured around in FNAF 3 because of the audio cues and the spring lock suit is forcing him to go toward them instead of going toward the security guard. he gets frustrated dismantles parts of the suit and replaces it with golden Freddy parts that's why his snout looks more like golden Freddy's than Bonnie and overall weather suit looks different

This was my first april fools video and all i can say that i was really fooled, i thought that this might be the real timeline because of how plausible this is fyi im not a theorist, just someone who watches theories so I can't criticize or see the flaws, but overall one of my favorite april fools video, i was really fooled. In all honesty this reminds me of the actual plot of a Disney's Gargoyles episode that introduced a time travel object called the phoenix gate. In this episode the main bad guy, an insanely rich man named Xanatos, takes his new wife and several wedding guests back in time as a display of wealth and power. It is then revealed that actually he's combining his need to stroke his ego ("look how rich and well-connected I am, I have access to magic items!") with the need to complete a specific time loop he's become dependent on; he must collect a very rare coin from the dark ages to then mail to himself as a child, so he will become instantly a wealthy youth to then build his empire on. In this version of events, he decides to be extra cheeky and give himself a little extra to start, just to be more ridiculous.
The episode establishes two things; 1)The main bad guy of the show is just insanely clever/lucky to find this object the first time, his wealth is not actually due from being perfectly successful through actual business means/choices and 2) Xanatos wealth might be a combo effect from stacking / doubling / going through one lifetime and then deciding next time his younger self needs even more money to start with. What made it difficult in this show to track changes is the writing team decided the way time travel works in their universe is that changes in the moment instantly affect the present; so you can't do any sort of comparisons to know if your past choices "worked" because they already happened and you are already, currently, living in that reality. This is different logic than how "Back to the Future" treats time travel, with the concept there being that timelines split, or branch. Both methods are considered very possible/logical/valid for storytelling, so if and when time travel is ever used one question to ask is; "But what KIND of time travel are we dealing with?"

You forgot to mention that they took apart the ball pit to build the pzzaplex we play in SB. Which ties into AstralSpiff's theory about the time warping building. Otherwise it was a spot on retelling of the timeline.

As where I live it was April 2nd not 1st when this was uploaded, it took me almost 10 minutes to realise what was going on.
