Mine could still reach his incision in the donut. We still use it but only under strict supervision.
adorable hope she is well
I just changed from hard collar to pillow for both of my 6 months old puppies that had surgery. After using it for 1 day both dogs were able to reach they stitches. I had to switch back to hard cone.
That’s nice that it worked for you but there are hundreds of testimonials stating that these donuts are useless. Good for you. 🎉
yaaaaaaaaaay! that's better :D
Technically, you shouldn't require it while you're sitting with the dog... They can cause neck fatigue and it's best to only use them when you can't directly supervise a dog who might chew themselves.
very clever
My dog currently is a spitting imagine of this beautiful dog! any chance of knowing all seven breed mixtures??
Ta, J
No one shows how it keeps them from licking. I have an IWH with a long tail and I need her to not lick it. But I don't see how this stops them.
Kelly with a K did you find something to work I’m looking for something to keep my lab from licking his tail
@@beccamorin4863 get rid of the tail
do you notice that none of these vloggers actually show the collar in use, why? bec most of them do not work to prevent the dog from licking or scratching the area you want to protect from.
My dog has a hot spot right on her cheek a few inches under the ear. Would this work? I’m using something else that is better than cone but curious about this.
Hmm I’m wondering if this can help my dog. The cone is inhibiting her from drinking enough water and she’s dehydrated again. She just got over being dehydrated & it was frightening. She collapsed and was unresponsive so now I’m on pins and needles hoping she doesn’t get this bad again. The collar might work but I don’t know where to get it from .
That dog is a pit bull mix.
that looks like a black version on my sisters dog who is a pit bull yellow lab mix
Yeah, mixed with lab...
Definitely pitt mix, my dog looks just like her, just a little bigger.
Looks like a Staffordshire bull terrier mix.
So instead they have the doughnut of shame.
WSJ needs a cone of shame
Why call the e collar a collar of shame? It is a collar for healing. Your collar is too but it is not as effective as the e collar. It is your projection of what you think the e collar is. Just wrong.
Wall Street Journal article of shame.
the "cone of shame" is a nickname popularized by the movie "Up"
