One of the builds of all times. I actually really enjoy it and currently daily drive, being my first clicky build. I felt the need to put clickies in my unused pla60 so I'd researched some options and this firefly one intrigued me the most since the click sounded quite deep. I almost went with the cheaper outemu cream blue tho.
Shoutout to ‪@chenyz‬ again for building this and bridging a broken socket on the pcb. It sounds and feels nearly exactly how I wanted, with deep and punchy clicks. Trimming the stems wasn't the best idea as it was unbelievably hard to pull the trimmer out and I ruined some clickbars in the process. I can't tell if it made a difference.
Unfortunately, a big drawback is the spacebar which sometimes doesn't fully return after a press, which is why you might not hear it click. It's still usable but I'm gonna try swapping with a stock switch.
Enjoy the very dramatic thunderstorm in the background
