Great video, thank you Misty. Tips and tricks on wigs are always welcome. I have used Conair hot rollers on my synthetic wigs to smooth rough ends, modify and add curls. They work well and are not too hot. I leave them in until they are completely cooled and wait 15 minutes to brush out the new style.
I ordered the Hot Air Brush. It makes all the difference. I've used a hot air brush with a metal barrow that only made my wigs straighter (go figure) but this one actually does what it's supposed to. Thanks for the recommendation.
Thanks for the tutorial. I bought a JR Marion as I thought it was set to look as the pic and when I open the box it was a huge disappointment. I asked for styling instructions and was let down by their lack of customer support. Advertising a wig that has been heat styled is misleading. Not everyone has skills and multiple products to get the look you think your buying into. Thanks Mimis Wigs for your tutorial 👏🏻👏🏻
Yes I’d like to see Raquel Welch editors pick done! I have two and am afraid of losing the beachy curl pattern. Thank you this was most helpful on straight wigs.
I am new to wigs (raging case of TE) and have learned so much from you two! Thank you for sharing your expertise. If I ever get back to TX (used to live in Arlington), I'm definitely stopping by for a visit!
Excellent video. The best video I have seen regarding using a hot airbrush. Good Job. Can you do a similar type video on the proper washing/conditioning of your wig?
Thanks for this. Sidebar: Misty, I got your recommended Kenra Platinum Texturizer and HairUWear "Curl" (because we seem to agree on every other product). Oh yes, yes, yes, yes. Both of those make a WORLD of difference in the wig game. Many thanks, Wendy.
Excellent video! So, approximately how many times does this particular technique seem to work on a synthetic style for you personally? Do you get same results from HD styles? Sometimes the fibers on those get clumpy and frizzy so fast, especially Raquel Welch-and I use great products. I would love to see you restyle an already curly style that comes very unruly or just doesn’t look the way you like.(restyle curls not straight) thanks for all of your videos 🤩
The technique will work as many times as you use it. It actually helps keep the fibers longer than nothing. The HD fiber just wears a little faster and you can pull some of that frizz out but overall even with excellent care they won't last as long as regular synthetic fibers. We have a video coming up showing how to restore curls. 😊 Thank you for watching!
Just make sure that you remove any tangles if it is a longer wig and if you have a wig stand keep it on there, if not then just hang it over a hair spray can or vase to keep it elevated and if not lay flat but don't crease or wad it up. :)
She’s showing a synthetic wig which normally cannot handle any heat at all. That’s why this method is so amazing. I am sure the heat defiants, which do ok with heat can be styled this way as well.
It was sparse because she puts it in a ponytail and had gotten it knotted up and cut it out. LOL She uses this one to wear back so that’s why i didn’t do any cutting.
Thank you to Mimi’s Wig Boutique. Please keep the tutorials coming!
Thanks so much. I would never have guessed it takes a dozen or so passes with the hot air brush to get the desired result. Very helpful.
Chesapeake this was what I caught on to also, if I’d been trying this method without this tutorial, I’d be very disappointed
OMG! The best! I needed this and your teaching was so easy to understand and through! A+ I never miss a show!
Perfect timing. I was going to toss out my RW hd wig because it has gotten so dry and frizzy. I love this video. Thank you so much.
Excellent content!! Well done and so helpful 💕💕💕💕Thank you.
Thanks for the tutorial. It's always nice to get good advice from the experts.
OMG! Loved the video!! I hope you make more videos like this in the future. BTW love your new website and can’t wait to order these products from you!
The voice over is so relaxing

I've only recently started watching you ladies. Thank you for sharing and teaching me.
Wonderful "how to" video! What a difference. Thanks so much!
This helped me so much. I may feel differently about my Raquel Welch wigs now. Thanks.
Very helpful to see it done. Thank you! Would be nice to see the newly styled wig on someone at the end, too.
Great video, thanks for sharing!
Great video . Love the hot air brush. Necessary tool for your wigs. I love that you can you it on ALL wigs♥️
Oh, I SOooo needed this video. Thank you SOoo much! I need to purchase a canvas head first, in large. I'll check out your site later today.
Excellent job. I can't wait to gather my materials and give it a try.
What a great video! Thanks for sharing with us.
“God Bless You” for showing us how to use products & blow brush to style ♥️

Hi Sherry can you tell me what temperature the hot setting is please?
@@tracyconabeer3532 There is no temperature control only high and low. I have used both but mostly high.
Hi Sherry, I am going to try this. Thanks for the email. Hugs
Hi great little video thank you. can you tell me what temperature the hot setting is please?
Keep any tips you may have coming. Very interested. Thank you Misty.

Thank you for this Misty! This will be so helpful to me as I start my wig journey. I have 4 brand new wigs waiting to go outside!
Great job, Misty! Thanks for this tutorial and all the links!
Thank you, Misty!!

Love watching you I learn a lot Thank you !

GREAT video! Just what the doctor ordered 😉
great job Misty!!!!!!!!!!
My Hot Tools was just delivered today! Can’t wait to try it!
Where did you buy it?
I can send you the Amazon Link or you can purchase from us. :) amzn.to/38FpgUd
Great video and I have a couple wigs that might benefit this ☺️
Excellent video. The best video I have seen regarding using a hot airbrush. Good Job. Can you do a similar type video on the proper washing/conditioning of your wig?
Terri Shimmel Yes, it is on the “list”. Thank you for watching.
Thank you Misty!
Awesome job Misty!
Will that hot air brush change the natural curl shape of the wig? And can it be used on straight wigs?
Nice!
Hi, can we do this on a regular base to a wig before it comes to frizze? Can it dammage the wig if we do that too often? Thanks x
Will this work to take curl out as well
More styling videos!!
Misty do you prefer using the hot air brush or the steamer?
What if it's a curly wig?
Wow awsome
Tutorials please? I really needed this to save a Upstage
Wonderful video. If I were to wear a cap over the wig as its cold here, would I just shake it out or do I have to re-style each time? Thanks so much.
Great video, thanks.
I very new to wigs and toppers. I'm assuming even with the lowest heat setting of this blow brush you need to only use on "heat safe" fibers?
Is it a good idea to use those steam rollers on a wig? Please keep these tutorials coming!
Victoria Lang I’d be concerned about using steam rollers on a synthetic wig. It may melt the fiber.
Is this just for heat defiant synthetic fibers, or can the hit air brush be used on non HD fibers? Thanks from Canada! 🇨🇦
It can be used on any fiber. This demonstration was done on a regular fiber wig.
@@MimisWigChicks Woohoo! That brightens my day! And thanks for this tutorial!
What is the brand of the brush you all use? This is great Misty!
amzn.to/3b8FrLH It is the Hot Tools Hot Air Blow Brush
@@MimisWigChicks Oh I meant the wire brush...
I was taught not to use wire brushes but wide tooth combs, those wire brushes breaks off the hair & causes fraying
Will this work on a heat defiant wig?
Thank you for sharing 😊
Could you do a video on how to then curl the wig? I have tried and I can never seem to properly curl the RW heat friendly fibers.
Debbie LOVESTOGARDEN we did one. We did a video on curling the Eve by Jon Renau but the process is the same no matter what brand.
Misty = Wig Magic
Love styling videos!
Can you also use a warm straightner to defrizz strands?
Which wig is this in video
What are you using to secure the wig on the styling head?
Thanks for this. Sidebar: Misty, I got your recommended Kenra Platinum Texturizer and HairUWear "Curl" (because we seem to agree on every other product). Oh yes, yes, yes, yes. Both of those make a WORLD of difference in the wig game. Many thanks, Wendy.
Very good video !! Thank you so much !!!
Can you use a jr HD spray or wig luster or. Jr wig conditioner or detangler?
What was the wig name? I liked the density of this wig! Thanks for all your great videos!!

is this available to ship to the UK please?
Yes it is available on our website.

Can you use on low setting for non-HD fibers?
This is a regular fiber wig. It is safe for ALL synthetic wig fibers. 😊
Wow, thanks!
Hi. Is this brush only for heat defiant wigs or can it be used on any synthetic wig? Thanks. 🥰
Eileen Langdon that was my question as well
Is it better to do that while it’s wet or dry?
Is this wig HD fibers or not?
How do you care for your wigs at the end of each day?
Just make sure that you remove any tangles if it is a longer wig and if you have a wig stand keep it on there, if not then just hang it over a hair spray can or vase to keep it elevated and if not lay flat but don't crease or wad it up. :)
Could you please recommend your favorite synthetic wig brands? Thank you. 😘😘😘
Is this a “heat defiant” wig? Can the non- heat defiant wigs be styled, or restyled in this way?
She’s showing a synthetic wig which normally cannot handle any heat at all. That’s why this method is so amazing. I am sure the heat defiants, which do ok with heat can be styled this way as well.
❤❤❤
Great video, but ditch the music! Thank you.
Couldn't you have trimmed it in the back...one side looked real sparse.
It was sparse because she puts it in a ponytail and had gotten it knotted up and cut it out. LOL
She uses this one to wear back so that’s why i didn’t do any cutting.
jmo but i think you are brushing that wig way too hard!
Great video! Thank you!
Great video, thank you!
Great video! Thanks!
