I really hope the new wolf does get used in other sets, so it becomes available on the PAB site. Usually unique parts to CMFs that remain exclusive do not get put on the PAB.
Oh yeah, the animals in that series are awesome. The bird, the cat and the wolf. I'll get multiples of all of them. I'm not into the Castle theme though; they'll be used for other purposes. :)
I'd get 6-7 of those new wolfpack figs and I'd love a wolfpack set (either retail or GWP) but I don't think that will happen. I do think we will get another large castle set that may have another wolfpack fig or 2 (similar to the town square). I think it would be port build with a small ship, Factions would be Lion/crusader knights guarding the port, Black knights (more likely the black falcons) in the boat (similar to that old set Sea Serpent) and add thieves (wolfpack) robbing the port or in jail.
sometimes they still have the smaller codes which you cant scan. but i guess people will be very quick with putting the weight of the packages online anyway so you can get a small scale for jewelry or similar light objects and check the weight. it did work very well for me when hunting for bat knights earlier this year but it might get you some strange looks :D
I'd love to see a full Wolfpack Icons set in 2025. If you they continue to revive old factions, I really hope they skip Dragon Masters (booooo) and give the Black Knights the Lion-Knights-Castle treatment. That would be very cool.
There are so many random castle theme type things that are coming out in forms like this. Also the mini figure that's going to be a new castle faction in some prize machine?
Unfortunately much as this figure is fantastic, i expect it to be impossible to find similar to the dragonborn paladin from dnd. Im sure there will be lots for sale at silly prices on ebay however.
I think bricklink was not the right venue for the wolfpack main building, its very sad to me to see it not get the right treatment and reuse so many torsos that are going to be outclassed by the new CMF. Had that been an ideas set it would have been perfect... but I think I would rather just buy a few more CMF minis and MOC something with some bricks. Its a small faction that really doesn't need an army of wolf shirts. Where are the wild forest folk casual outlaw family?
unfortunately i think lego is happy with just using the bricklink program for a castle outlet. in official lego, the falcons have only been in the 3in1 and the lion knights set, then nothing. same with the forestmen, just 2 sets and 1 was a gwp. i think castle is so prominent in bricklink that lego just lets us do the legwork in designing sets. also the cart isnt likely to happen as there is a similar cart in the new tower from bricklink. i hope im wrong and they begin a line of sets, but it seems like something would have leaked or been announced by now. the lion knight castle will be gone this year, along with the 3in1 and blacksmith, with nothing to replace them and not a peep for a future set outside of bricklink. maybe something is in the works.. crossing fingers. that beastmaster is going to be impossible to find though, id love to get a few! nice setup though!

@@marijn8057 No that was a fan build. I mean that bdp used existing lego parts. So these parts will be in production in the SECOND half of next year.... long after the CMF has disappeared. Also the lego creator castle is retiring. So there is a definite gap for a cheaper castle. The CMF is a teaser.

Maybe a silly question, but how can you tell which CMF is in each package now a days? Since you can't feel them
There's apps out there that you can use to scan the QR code on the bottom of the package. That will then show what's inside the box.
