That pillow is gorgeous!
Thanks, Nitya! It was fun until the trim part :) I just love that Empress floss so much; it's the same one I used for your It's You I Like.
I love that you have your grandma’s bobbinated thread! My mom, who taught me to cross stitch, used to bobbinate her threads too. I have a lot of her bobbins that I use now. She used to cut the numbers off the DMC labels and tape them to the bobbins, but every once in a while, I’ll come across one that she labeled by hand. It makes me feel so connected to her. 💜
Isn't that a wonderful feeling, to have these tangible things that other people created and used? Gives me hope too, for the pieces we are putting so much time and energy into stitching. Thanks so much for watching and commenting, Amy!
New pattern looks so good!!!! Thank you!!!
Thank YOU!!
Enjoyed stitching with you this afternoon. Thank you for the wonderful free chart. Take care and happy stitching.
Thank you so much for watching and commenting, Sarah! Stitchy friends are the best.
Love your finish of Yule Goat! That was a reminder for me to go get that pattern. Love seeing your progress. I like the variety of stitching! I LOVE seeing the farm life!!
Thank you! I hope you enjoy stitching Yule Goat as much as I did; it's a great pattern. I'm looking forward to the spring so I can show off farm babies; our first calf is due in about five weeks.
I love your pattern and your reminder to make everybody feel they are among friends
Cool pattern for your dad
Looking forward to see more of your designs 😊
Faaarm caaats love love love Midnight 😍😍😍
Thanks so much, Maryam! I thought you'd like Midnight ;) We have a numerous and friendly black cat population.
came here to see allllll those wips but stayed for the small perfect potty updates ha!
Hahaha, my director/producer/anti-productiveness manager is very demanding!
Thanks for the shoutout! I love your freebie and I love the message behind it. Can’t wait to see your ornament in the magazine, beautiful color palette. Great idea for potty training stitching. We are going to start potty training our son soon. Loved seeing the farm cats. My daughter loved them too.😊
Thank you so much, Allie! I'm glad you and your daughter enjoyed the cats. And best of luck with the potty training; we've had a bit of a regression this week, but overall, there is light at the end of the tunnel.
Congrats on the ornament 🤩🤩. Looking forward to seeing it 🥰
Thanks! It may be my favorite design so far.
Fantastic second video Sarah!!! Can't say enough how beautiful that freebie is. How lovely! Yule goat is super cute. I like the sparkles. Your full coverage progress is outstanding. Is there a good solution to handling extra large fabric? I really don't know. Gathering snowflakes is so pretty. Big yay to monochromatic stitching! I can't wait for your wip parade! Creating a wips spreadsheet sounds like a birthday treat to me!!! Can't wait!
Thanks so much, Nitya! I've been stitching Ripples in hand, so that fabric stays pretty nicely folded, but with Peacock in the QSnap it's just a free-for-all with the rest :)
I love the thread you used for the free pattern!
Thank you! Sometimes I feel like I use too much purple, and then I remember, no such thing! It's a great variegation; enough to be noticeable but not so extreme that it's multiple colors.
Just found your channel, so trying to catch up. Live your freebie. You said 'Started is closer to done than not' and I'm hoping that becomes a design as well. Love seeing your projects, and I need that book design📚
Great idea for a freebie, Sarah, thank you! And it's so true, especially when you're staring at some of those giant projects but you still really want to stitch them. I so so appreciate your love of the Books Are Magic designs; you made my day!!!
@ModCross Patterns I purchased the book magic designs. Can't wait to figure out fabric and colors.
Let me know what you do with colors; I can’t wait! Hope you enjoy the project 💜📚
I almost always glue on my trim 😂 don’t be ashamed!!!
Thanks, Julie, that makes me feel better! A good reminder that not only are there no rules in cross stitch, but also in cross stitch finishing :)
Saturn V bluepirnt pattern?? What!? Freakin' amazing.
And it really is fun to stitch. That reminds me, it's April now, I'd better get back to it! May seemed so far away when I started... :)
I have the same problem with making plans/goals. I would definitely feel like a failure.
Yup, I've learned I do not need that negative energy loop connected to my stitching! Now to apply it elsewhere in life...
