Great rap but the visuals aren’t his. But he made the rap fit them perfectly.
Yeah, he may not be the one making the visuals, but his editing skills are amazing. His music and arrangement of the clips definitely transforms the game's cutscenes into something else entirely. I don't know if it's just him or if he has a team behind him, but they deserve credit for every aspect of the production. Can't imagine how much time it took to pull off.

Dan Bull is a legend, that whole rap is awesome and that beat is disgustingly good.
6:37 this is my favourite line. It shows how easy it is to look back and villainize people for their decisions, even when at the time of the decision its effect weren't clear and the people (might have) just tried to make the best decisions. It is so easy to villainize people, but we are all humans, we all make mistakes and choices that turn out worse then planed and I doubt that many people would actually make better decisions when they would have to make them in the moment.

@@Epicesify Well for one thing it's not even remotely rap. It's just cool for people who are already into Minecraft. It's a terrible example of his ability to write and spit bars. He has way more better examples. My concern is y'all telling rap reactors to react to that song will make them drop him to the bottom of their list after without ever getting to some of his monster raps like GTA5 or Watch Dogs. Just because you like Minecraft. Note, I like Minecraft (and that song) too, but it is honestly not a good example of his rapping ability.

This song is a masterpiece. It feels so good seeing someone appreciate and understand it man you don’t understand. This was probably my favorite reaction I’ve seen in a while.

You should check out more of his work, like he did a few songs for the game The Crew and The Crew 2 that uses homophones instead of rhymes, and he did one for Fallout 4 that using all words that start with the same letter for sections.
Like I'm serious when I say he's a genius, you will not regret continuing to go through his content.

I love this by Dan Bull, my teacher played this in history once and I was hooked
"The less time to see their eyes and feel sympathetic." That's so true. Back then when it was hand-to-hand or at least melee weapons you'd have to at least look at the person and deal with their tears/emotions. Then you get the bow where sometimes it's close-range but most times you're just firing into the air towards a crowd. Now? "Ah, just send a drone." Don't even need to drop a thought of anyone or anything in the vicinity.
Love your breakdown of the bar about weapon advancement. I've seen a couple of other reaction to this song and they just glossed over the flow rather than reacting to what is really portrayed in those bars

I have to disagree with your use of the word "psychopaths". I'm a veteran of Desert Shield/Desert Storm. I joined the US Army, not out of patriotism, but, because I felt obligated. I would never take back one second of my part in that. It made me a better person. But, I digress. In my opinion, the feeling of obligation is far more common thru out history than the psychopathic events that we learn thru history/propaganda. When one believes that they HAVE to do something because it's what is NEEDED. That's dangerous. The ones that have taken lives, and live with the fact that THEY committed the act when it goes against their nature, AS HUMANS, are scarred and scared. PTSD. But, as I type this, maybe the feeling of obligation IS psychopathic!? I don't know. Great video! Great reaction! Thank you! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍✌🙏

But sometimes, it just haunts you back later on. Whether its the feeling of guilt or sympathy that accumulated over time.

Respect, Thank you for your service! I believe what he meant in the video was that psychopaths are the ones who take life without feeling anything. But that most of us people even those as you mentioned that do it out of a sense of obligation feel some sympathy towards the enemy and it's in our nature not to take life. But those who do it out of a sense of obligation push through that due to their sense of duty, while psychopaths don't have to push through anything since they have no sympathy towards others.
I thought the same thing as soon as he said it. I don't think he even realized it.

So his main thing is he's trying to do a rap for every video game. This is the one from Civilization 5. The video is made from all of his cutscenes. The course of the rap follows the playable tech tree (which follows our history).
I highly recommend you react to his GTA5 video. It's amazing.

The Crew is a good one by Dan, he uses Homophones instead of standard Raps.

dan bull is very skilled and this is probably his single greatest work. he has others with better flow or alterations etc etc but this one just hits that sweet spot of transcending it's normal medium.
