this is close to xx's cloud walking for sure. LIM had some issue with his backhand in the whole game.
It was 7 months ago and I still unable to fully move on from this match, this is real table tennis, real sporty spirit, real athletes, a real match. I believe they did enjoy the time playing with each other, enjoy the sport, that's why all the rallies are totally insane, they served and received as they gonna perform sort of art, and they really did, absolutely beautifully. This is the intersection of art and sport. I hope anyone who plays this sport and wants to walk in the professional route will engrave in their heart the same spirit. Gonna watch this match time and time again.

thats a dumb strain of logic. Then Simon Gauzy would be playing the olympics for France because of the one point he played against Felix Lebrun. One well played point doesn't mean anything, it is being able to repeat that over and over, for months and years, against any opponent or playstyle, thats what gets you to the olympics. The points that nobody remembers are really the most important ones in a TT professionals career.

The Korean Team gave the Chinese Team a major scare. Having a two-to-one lead against the Chinese is almost unheard of. But Fan Zhendong/Wang Chuqin snuffed the burning fire out of the Korean Team. If they played Lee Sang Su twice, the Korean Team would have a better chance. Didn't Lee Sang Su recently had a victory over his long-time nemesis, Fan Zhendong?
But i think Fan is playing much better this time round. He’s unbeatable as always, but this time he’s learned his mistakes so he ain’t playing around no more.
Based off recent results , placing Lee sangsu third was completely reasonable. But yes , he's beyond gifted and can beat anyone on a given day
