Good stuff Russ!
Great information, thanks
Thank you for the advice
Need to see more of that editing program
Wow Russ that's great advice! Thanks!
Hello Russ, thank you the excellent idea and tips 🙏. I’m starting ROFL over the power outage shot with the flash scene 🤣. Continued Prayers for your wife and family🙏.
😁
Hello Rus. Nice work man. Thanks for sharing.
I wish you and your family all the best. Happy Holidays.
Greetz from Belgium.
Great video. Best wishes for you and your wife!
Great list of tips for capturing video without relying on the “quick shots”. Feel like the editing software on DJI creates the same type of edit over and over again. Happy holidays to you and your family and can’t wait till the next video!
That scenery looks so storybook! Almost like a miniature 🏡
Very good idea
As someone who lives just outside of Minot I respect these shots.
It's good to meet you. I like the way you explain things so that Newbies, Like Me, don't get overwhelmed...
Thanks again for turning me on to CapCut with the last video. It's perfect for my needs.
I love CapCut, Thanks Russ for introducing it to all of us.
Thanks for the ideas Russ!
Thanks for the great advice on this and all your videos! As a drone newbie (DJI mini 4 pro a few months ago) I've learned a lot, very much appreciated!
Thank you very much for this, super helpful!
Thanks from Sweden. Nice to see that you have a beautiful Swedish Dalahäst (Dala horse).
Great video and tips.
Merry Christmas Russ to you and the family. Been praying for your wife 🙏🏻
Great tips Russ, thanks for sharing.
Some Great Tips and Information Thank You🙂👍
Awesome idea and great tips!
Thanks! For all the great tips
Thank YOU!
👍🏼 thanks Russ
Wow...the Ecoflow Delta is exactly what I got my wife. Surely helped after watching your Christmas Shopping guide. Thanks a bunch. Thanks for sharing the tips. Honestly I just fly for fun..and the view. Would taking pics or video and then presented as a gift require a p107? I would love to print some of my sunrises on t shirts and gift yet wary just for that reason. It;s a cool idea though. Have a great day!
Part 107 is only required if the intent of the flight at that time was for commercial purposes. If your intent when you use your drone to capture the photos for Personal use, and then you decide to use them and make money with them later, then part 17 is not required. It is all tied to your intent at the time of the use of your drone..
Thanks nice tips👍👍👍
That was pretty good. At first the church looked like a Buddhist temple until you notice the crosses. But very nicely executed and well done.
Your son did very well with the comic relief and the empty box, I mean prop, it’s a prop.
Lol
Great video! Your wife gets the best gifts! My wife wants the same thing for Christmas 🤣😂
Lol
Great Video! About to go shoot a hotel in a min! Great help!
Lol...either those kids are good actors, or they're just like mine...hope someday you don't have them point a light at a disco ball...they'll become way too distracted. 😂😂😂
Prayers to you all.
Hope all is well with your wife and the family.
I didn't even think of that but drone footage does change what you can offer to put in one of those active/digital-picture-frames.
Nice shots, I always like to stop at the Scandinavian Heritage Park when passing through Minot, a unique spot for a lunch break.
Thanks I was about to ask him where this was filmed. I didn’t think it was Norway, which has a number of churches like this. I figured it was the US by looking at some of the houses in the background ..a beautiful church- if I’m ever in North Dakota, which is highly unlikely, since I live in California, I’ll drop by
Lots of good tips but..... From a recent experience...
Flying low and sideways is a very dangerous combination. During this part of the year when the trees have no leavs, just don't count on obstacle avoidence. Playing a little with the zoom and the position relative to the foto object easily changes from what's intended. Tilting the camera straight down to check is never wrong. It can be cut out of the final video.
If flying this way make sure to have a clear and near view of the drone confirming the distance from the target.
Hey Russ could you please do the promised video on the Symik 145 watt charger. Not sure how to safely use it with my drone batteries.
Coming soon!
Hi Russ, How does one become a channel member?
08:01 I’m trying to wrap my head around how to fly up or down at the same time…
Cheers from Germany, Russ😅
Awesome❤ I hope all is well. I want to try these drone moves asap. Quick question would I need a part 107 license if I’m filming for my you tube channel? I plan on starting a garden and want to show the process of it and also show other garden in the community as well.
You only need it if your channel is monetized. Anything that you do before that you do not require part 107
@@51Dronesthank you☺️
Cute way to sneak in an ad... If you have a good drone, Mavic 3, Mini 4 Pro, or any drone with a good camera you don't have to have editing skills if you plan your video well. Last year I did a video of our town's beautiful Christmas lights on the square at night. I launched from an empty parking lot and waited until in position to start the video and flew my preplanned route slowly in the tripod/ cine setting and got the video I wanted. I did some photos of the tree from different positions also. It didn't produce a professionally edited video naturally, but most didn't know the difference.
I have noticed that there are 3 types of RUclipsrs, those who waste time creating TV show perfection, those who produce good videos, and those who don't have a clue and jerk the camera or drone around and do little or awful editing. Sadly, some of the latter, like "Mav" have over a million subscribers.
Do you need a Part 107 license to make a gift photograph?
Not if the intent of the photograph is to be used to further the business financially.

Thanks!
