I too, have been trying very carefully to bring those very points out of course, but to no avail, so I am in total agreement, and I don’t sweat it anymore. All things will be revealed. The Lord will set things straight, in all his holy mountain, “the spirit and the bride say come” “this is the way walk in it”. “faithful is as faithful does”. The self called “faithful and discrete slave“ i.e. GB has increasingly become more and more out of harmony with God’s spirit of truth IMO although they do have some basic necessary and crucial beliefs as their basis, which are necessary for salvation, things such as no hellfire, no immortality of the human soul, no Trinity, and so forth which I believe the spirit helped them perceive as necessary truths.

Where's the need for confession of sins? Incredible liberties, he's taking downplaying the multitude of WT sins, including joining the Beast UN! An act so humiliating that they still deny it privately among the brethern.
My father who was a jw from 1952, he’s dead now, used to write to the society with his understanding of something they had said as new light, but he never got a reply. But several years later they would change their uNderstanding to exactly what he had written to them about. Same as what you have experienced by the sound of it

The Old Testament is written in black and white. The New Testament is written as puzzles. Interpretation is key. The organization have put together a lot of truth with the pieces, but also some false interpretation. The Bible explains: Jesus praises his father for hiding these things from the wise and intellectual and revealing it to babes. Matt 11:25. When you take it upon yourselves to lead a group in Jehovah’s name you don’t want them to fall into a pit. They did many times and they won’t apologize. Maybe Jehovah’s been waiting for this statement. And on tape. You yourselves have said it. I guess God led them into that pit? Matt 15:14. I will publicly praise Jehovah for the infallible God he is. He can lead his and his son’s people with the Bible and Holy Spirit.

Well, the are many reasons. The simplest is that Jehovah's Witnesses bear the name of Jehovah in virtually every language into which YHWH has been translated. That means only Jehovah's Witnesses can profane God's name, as they have done. @@ewatchmandotcom It seems to me like the JW have proclaimed themselves to be God's earthly organization and "mother". They proclaim a lot of things of which you have pointed out as false....but you have bought the bill of goods that they are "mother". Maybe the Adventist are the mother beings some of Russel's teachings resulted from affiliation with them. I don't know...just throwing it out there . From where I am sitting, the JW calling themselves "mother" is just another control tactic over the rank and file.

(just more conjecture from the JW) some thoughts from the article: Jehovah has an invisible heavenly organization which produced Jesus and the 144000. When some of the 144000 die, they become part of that organization which is his "wife"....if you accept then they are God's wife and not Jesus's

All of the teachings from Watchtower can be easily debunked with scripture.
The Bible is a gigantic mess. Intentionally written to be weird and indecipherable. Chuck Russell was essentially a universalist. Calvin said you can't choose. The Romans set up the Christian doctrine. All of this has nothing to do with any god or son of God.
I doubt if you could even know which side of the Bible is the front or back.
I agree, Matt, 😊most all of their teachings are error except the one true God and their teaching God does not torture people, literally in a burning hellfire and that God will make this earth a paradise. That’s it, only 3of all their doctrines pass the smell test.

The origin of the JW religion was based upon seeking the date of the end. Big mistake!
They were seeking knowledge that not even the son of God was allowed to posses.
I don’t believe this was ever God’s organization at all. And throughout decades this religious sect only got worse and became skillful in their ability to mislead people.
For example: the term the Watchtower uses is: ‘The other sheep class’ but Jesus said,” I have other sheep”’, denoting his ownership of his other sheep who are actually gathered from the nations, they are not simply people who are divided within a religion that didn’t even exist when he said it.
And Christ’s other sheep follow him, not the JW false shepherds.

@ewatchmandotcom this may come as a surprise to you, but Jehovah/Yahweh IS the devil. Jesus rebuked the Hebrews/Israelites in his day when he said in John 8:44 "For you are the children of your father the devil, and you love to do the evil things he does. He was a murderer from the beginning. He has always hated the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, it is consistent with his character; for he is a liar and the father of lies."
The Hebrew scriptures was all they had to go on, and Jesus identified the God of the Hebrews/Israelites as the devil. Psalms 83:18 Jehovah/Yahweh is deemed the highest over all the earth; 1 John 5:19 Satan is ruler over the earth. Both identify as one and the same God.

Hello, I have been reading your book (2010 edition) . I have a question.
On page 46 it states: "That the wheat and the weeds are harvested from the same Christian organization is also apparent from the seven letters of Revelation."
If this is the case than the focus is on the congregation and the WHEAT will be found WITHIN the congregation; why then did you leave or why should anyone leave the congregation?
It just feels in a similar sense did not Eve leave her small congregation so to speak when a question of challenge arised?
Wouldn't it have been better to wait on Jehovah and her own husband rather then Presumptuously reject all that Jehovah provided by abandoning everything she knew?
If the wheat and weeds can be found within the congregation as is spoken of in Revelation, fine. But let us be found within the congregation and patiently allow those with the responsibility to separate the weeds from the wheat. I've been hurt, but I wait on the God of justice. He will always do what is right.

So if the Governing Body are the evil slave who are beaten *severely,* who is the slave that will be beaten with a *few* strokes because he didn't understand the will of the master?

Are the Governing Body the faithful and discreet slave who have become the evil slave?
I'm a little confused. The Watchman seems to be saying that the Governing Body are the evil slave (or will be deemed so) who will be severely beaten (destroyed), but in one of his articles _(The slave that did not understand)_ he seems to say that they are also the slave who did not understand the will of the master and will be lightly beaten. Surely *both* punishments cannot apply to them, as they are different outcomes?
In addition, he states in that same article that the Governing Body are the faithful and discreet slave who have provided food at the proper time, but is it not so that they have *never* been faithful or discreet (wise) because the 1914 delusion has been taught since the inception of the Watchtower Society in the late 1800's? Doesn't that automatically make them the slave who did not understand?

Jesus is God - repent! Jesus said he was Jehovah God many many many times in Isaiah. Thus saith the LORD is Jesus - Isaiah 44:6 - besides me there is no other god! So you cannot say that John 1:1 in the NWT bible is talking about Jesus as "a god". If the person in Isaiah 44:6 is the father according to you JWs - then why is he saying "Besides me there is NO OTHER god" ??? You would have major contradiction here, Jesus would become a form of idolatry since you call him saviour - when Jehovah says this:

So you would have us believe that Jehovah, who changed his name to Jesus, sends himself as the Savior?
