Guys,better rent a car or scooter when traveling around....even for us Albanians public transport is a headache! Schedule dosent make sense there, drivers depart when filling the bus. Have fun!
Take a taxi it's not that much. The bus almost cost nothing
Those beaches are awesome but during this time it is hit or miss. They are absolutely fantastic in September. Note that in Greece there were hurricane like winds a week ago. I am surprised the weather is not worse.

I was last summer to Dhermi...It was packed with turists...but because the pandemi like everywhere in the world this year beaches in Albania are empty...you better hire a car ..have fun
Yea car is a better solution that the taxi that they paid 50 euros.

The beach at Saint Malo is very windy.
You complaining the place is so empty. Did you guys miss out there is coronavirus this year? I'm albanian living in Italy and I used to come quite often in the albanian riviera but this year we have to do 14 days of quarantine when back to Italy..
We weren’t complaining we were expecting it we didn’t know everything shut because of low season!

I am very sad that you guys had to wait so long just to get a bus . Most of minibuses go to cities not beaches like dhermi so i strongly suggest a rent car it is cheap

Ju have to go in Jul and August the night life is very good because in Albania the max summer season finish in 3 week of September

Ye but when you are a turist,you dont realy want to spend 50 Euros for a
short distance.Public trasport is the means of travel even for lokals.

Was in beachfront Saranda for a day and seriously pestered by gypsies - wasn't pleasant, sort of put me off seeing the rest of the country. Give me Greece any day. Looked lovely though where you were
Oh that’s a shame we didn’t get anything at all like that Saranda was our favourite!
So you basically judged a country out of people that basically live illegally.
I'm from Australia and the experience with the gypsies was so foreign to me and very scary. At the time I thought they were Albanian . Have since researched and found out they aren't. All The people I met apart from them were lovely. I would love to come again after knowing what I know now. Sadly countries are always judged by the experiences you have when visiting them and the experience I had with the gypsies was not a good one. I'm sure Australia is also judged by travellers that have a bad experience here. Just so unfortunate for Albania and other European countries that welcome tourists to have these people milling around and making their stays bad. Good luck with maybe moving them on
