I appreciate you working through it in actual time, as it shows me that I am gluing my ephemera down too soon and not staging it until I am totally happy with it. You give everything a lot of thought before making it permanent, so that may help me more than I realized. Its nice hearing your thought process. Thanks so much!
This is lovely Mindy. I think these videos are so helpful bc sometimes people get stuck or try to do too much and it doesn’t have to be like that. Sometimes I will create and just write a prayer on the lined Bible. I enjoy it bc often I don’t have the time to do a larger page. God relishes any time we spend in His Word! ❤
It is beautiful. I'm embarrassed to say how long it took me to realize the yellow skein of floss was not an actual skein. 😄 Thank you for taking the time to share this video.
@@vikkivanveldhuizen2290 you could certainly do that. But the amount of glue I put on the back of the ephemera piece will hold the floss in place. And I like the texture that comes from not having everything completely stuck down. It’s just personal preference honestly. Do what works best for you! Thanks for watching. 💜
@vikkivanveldhuizen2290 you could definitely do that. Just make sure you’re using a glue that dries clear! I don’t mind if my threads move around a bit. I do add glue often when I’m using cheesecloth or something a bit heavier, so it stays exactly how I envisioned. In this instance I was more interested in just having the texture versus needing them to stay in a specific design if that makes sense.
@@minders78 does the Art Glitter Glue dry clear? That would be great if it does. I gave it down on my list of things to purchase. What are your most used Distress Oxides??
@@minders78 another comment from me. I found this fabulous Bible with a Journaling “Bible” to match. I’m collecting ideas and “tools” to start journaling in it. I might end up giving it to my 17 year old granddaughter who would thoroughly enjoy it. Her faith is absolutely amazing.

I completely agree. The time spent in the word is always the most important part. Thanks so much for watching.

I loved watching your creative brain working. But next time, please zoom out a tad... so we can actually see it.
Thanks for watching.
Why not gently glue down the floss?

@@minders78 I was thinking perhaps a dot here or there so it wouldn’t move out of the shape you put it in. I apologize if I wasn’t clear. 🙂
