Thanks for watching! Let me know your preferred note taking app, if it's not on this list I'll give it a try! Don’t forget, your preference is most likely tied to your note taking style. For obsidian, when you set up a vault, you can set up a iCloud vault that automatically uploads to your iCloud and then it will appear on all of your devices. It’s a great free alternative to their payed tier. Edit: Obsidian is scary at first, but if you spend a couple days using it and consuming obsidian content, it will become your primary notes app.
Obsidian was by far the most exciting on this list, though the lack of Apple Pencil support meant I tended to gravitate away from it when not at my desk. Thanks for the iCloud tip! I’ll give that a go!
Yes, you can even use git to save the vault, but in fact it was extremely superficial when exploring obsidian.. and about Apple pencil, there are plugins in the community, like Ink or excalidraw
Another point that bothered me, because you talked so much about Obsidian Sync but OneNote itself is a horrible experience on Android, very different on iPad OS.
I never really liked apple notes. Maybe its cause I dont have an iPad and I cant take full advantage of all the new features but for me notion is probably king of note taking...plus its good for collaborative work when working with a team

Windows and Linux users left the chat.
You can use a lot of these on Windows! Not sure about Linux though!

I love Notion too, perhaps the offline mode coming next year may push it to number one for me!
