Stitch!! Thank you so much for your appreciation and awesome feedbacks! Not a lot of reacters are informative and honest like you! Maybe i should implement some of your advice on my battles😄😄! Cheers my guy:)
Vino specifically made the wildcard for the ACE judging system, so his position is pretty understandable as he would've scored high on all their judging sheets
@@VinoGer take ice for an example. People thought his wildcard "sounded good" but when you really break it down into the different musical and technical elements of the routine, then it will become clear.
@Stitch Beatbox & Music Though I do understand where you're coming from with this sentiment, I do think that the specific segment you pointed out in Sonus' had no errors in both pitch and frequency since he was using a phrygian dominant scale, characteristic in Middle Eastern music, assuming that what he is emulating is Middle Eastern. In addition, going in between notes, otherwise known as microtonality, is also prevalent in Middle Eastern music. The sometimes off-kiltered pitch adds another layer of realism to me. Also, to address the confusion regarding frequency and pitch, frequency is a specific numerical and quantifiable value whereas pitch is relative. We draw conclusions of pitch based on frequency. What you may consider as an A may not be considered as an A by another person depending on how many cents off it is from equally-tempered A (its specific frequency) or on what the cultural background of the individual is (whether or not they are familiar with the equal-tempered system). As a musician and vocalist myself, I can understand why you made such remarks, but I believe that we are obliged to give an educated reason as to why. Saying that "You need to have good ears for you to hear this" may sound elitist to others and we definitely do not want that to happen. All things aside, I genuinely do enjoy your animated reactions and insightful commentary, regardless of whether or not I agree with them. I believe you are doing a great job spreading our artform. Big props to you! Love from the Philippines.
Bro Footbox was just fuckin' vibing. I bet he would be insane on a stage bopping around like that. Remix would also go hard af on a live stage, like holy shit. Remix vs. Xiphire on a live stage would literally blow the windows out with those basslines.
Definitely felt Remix and Serous were 2 and 3, but like you said, different musical tastes. Vino’s audio quality, flow, and overall confidence was very solid.
Man i feel like every IT throwdown contestant should watch this vid since the details stitch picks up and emphasizes on is not biased and i feel like would really help them develop themselves further with how good the information stitch provides .. as a noob beatboxer even i feel enlightened as if reaching nirvana
I think ACE, all three categories should be judged by 1 judge... Then the ranks of the wildcards would be understandable. Because it is being judged by three judges individually, Some wildcards are placed higher than the wildcards which should be placed higher. I guess my opinion makes sense
What this does in my opinion is that the results will be varied and mixed. You can get insight from 3 high level beatboxers with different backgrounds. The things is with some positioning with some getting higher or lower than we expected. Kickback battle is a good example where people really didn't think D-low deserved first place on his wildcard or Den not making it to top 7 with wildcard.
