Kia ora and thanks guys! I am amazed that you got to experience house moving Kiwi style. The largest move I have heard of is the White Swan Hotel in Greytown, Wairarapa. This large wooden building was a railways administration building in Woburn, Lower Hutt (near to Days Bay). They cut this large wooden building into six pieces and drove it over the Remutaka mountain road that you guys drove over recently: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_White_Swan_Hotel,_Greytown
Damn! That’s pretty insane Mike 😂 you definitely know whats going on around here. You have plenty of stories that we could listen to all day 😉 it was probably an expensive job too!
Hey-ya My friend brought a cheap house and had it moved to Family land here in Tauranga. Then they did a massive renovation to the house and made it beautiful. They paid peanuts for the house and nothing for the land so they really got a great deal
sounds like a very smart idea which worked out beautifully! we want to do something like this in the future back in Europe! we wanna live in a tiny house :)
I'm surprised that no one has mentioned that house moving in New Zealand is so popular, there's a TV show about it, hosted by the now husband of the now former Prime Minister (she was PM at the time, but they were not married).
Lived in this house from 1983 to 1994. It was a family home. Built about 1960. We brought it of my mother inlaw. Awesome video ❤
Valeo gang in the house, good to see effort you put in the videos. Miss you bro

My beautiful lil old cottage comes from beside the Waikato river and now sits on my property in Northland beside the Wairoa harbour ☺️🌺
awh hope your haooy in your new little place :) small and simple is the way forward!
We build in timber because timber is plentiful in NZ and we don't have master Bricklayers or stone masons like Europe.
Love watching you guys mingle with the locals! How did you get this opportunity? Did you get paid? :)
hey brother! the guy we are staying with does this for a living so we got the opportunity to experience it :)
