Thank you for this video. It gave me a lot of ideas for decorations and places to decorate I was not utilizing before this video. Our first 2 years after moving to a new city and leaving family behind we did not Xmas decorating. One of those being a COVID year. The last two I changed that. I bought a artificial tree with lights at an antique shop the first year and enjoyed getting back to decorating. We had 3 of our kids and some of their family here last Xmas and our youngest daughter complemented our tree and said this was the best Xmas she had in years. Love your blue🦋. I have butterflies all over my house. They remind me of my mom. Also, the striped red/white rag doll in the crib is one I gave our youngest grandson when he was little. May you have a beautiful holiday with your family.

Hi beautiful Emily . I thought your hair looked great and loved that smocked top. I am so happy Cassian is ok…so scary when little ones get that sick. I will be around my two great nieces for Thanksgiving. I usually do the cinnamon applesauce ornaments because they smell so good, but the white stars are adorable. I do orange slices every year too, but wouldn’t grapefruit be great. Lemons just look burnt. I have old yellowed music notepaper ..maybe we will do those ornaments…my favorite thing you did. I got two card making kits originally priced 14.99 ..got for two fifty at an estate sale. Emily , I probably have five times more totes, maybe more and I share every year. Last year I gave away about a third of my stuff to a lady that could not afford decor. I just cannot help myself. I see something at an estate sale and it is so cheap it just has to go home with me. Thank you for reminding us about not trying to make everything perfect I struggle with that. So many different people expect certain things I bake or certain chocolates and baking is getting expensive. I get overwhelmed. Our family is cutting down on gifts this year. I love you collect Nativity sets..love the wooden set.❤❤❤I would have thought walnut too. Putting out our Nativity set is my husband’s job. It takes up the whole buffet. He even has made a pig lot. I have several little sets too. Your big set is soo beautiful. My husband and I went to a Divine Intervention dinner to hear a very good priest friend talk talk about Mother Teresa, how we need to pray for unity , how we can make a difference by our kindness , and we had a great lunch with everything from ham, turkey, sides to dessert. Unfortunately, I had a weird stomach so I ate very little. I talked to the man beside me . l I asked what Catholic Church he went to since we have three in our area and he said I am Baptist but I love this priest . Divine Intervention helps with food, clothing to help with depression, ptsd, home visits to the elderly or sick. We also get Advent devotionals. Funny , I asked one of the ladies who has been with this group forever where her part time home is and she said Bradenton Florida. I hope your family stays well, you have lots of fun decorating, making crafts and enjoying Advent devotions. I have lots of grapevine so making wreaths and trying to find what I did with our giant pine ones we got when visiting my brother in NC. I have been ready to put up Christmas for about a month now, but I am being strong and leaving my fall decor up. Earlier this year we went to New Orleans and brought home a lot of Mardi Gras beads. I want to make that my Christmas tree theme this year. Also thrifted a couple of masks to go on it and then will add just some of my regular “color themed” ornaments I already have from throughout the years. I might try your book ornaments to hand on my staircase.

I saw a lady with a toilet seat cover and rug that had Christmas decor on it. We did glance through Targets items but did not pick up any. Hubby said he wants to really up our decorating around our entry door and porch area.
Loved what you did very Victorian inspired I thought . Just enjoy your family time goes so fast and children grow so quickly . As a mother of four I can honestly say it’s better to be present than perfect . My children talk about making decorations driving around in pjs looking at lights in the neighbourhood .

@ I’m from the uk but I actually think there a danish brand we just started to get Sostrene Grene shops which is another really good shop this I think is a uk shop but it has the paper your looking for and ribbon . I try very hard to not buy new plastic we’ve been hit hard with temu ect in this country so I’m cautious where I shop . I like to reuse and buy responsibly 😻
All of them … too hard to pick because they were all different! That wicker basket was for hanging on a peg board in the hallway … seemed to be more decorative than functional. God bless! 🙏🙌✝️✡️❤️
