    There should be a Royal Society for the prevention of cruelty to roses! 🤣🤣
    Just amazing how John Lord can treat the roses so badly and yet the rose bushes look so good. I will never have the guts to treat any plants like that. This just shows how experience John Lord is and thank you for making a video of John Lord's tour of the garden - Just amazing to watch!

    Years ago I planted
    Eupatorium Chocolate and it was nice except that I let it go to seed and all the seeds grew. I had tons of dull green Eupatoriums all over the place. It took a long time to pull them all out (years) and I cannot imagine ever planting them again.

    John and David, I, like many others love your videos so much. They are one of the highlights of my week. The hilarious interaction @16.30mins with the 2 ladies got me thinking. You 2 should maybe consider introducing a bit of customer interaction (occasionally) when you're strolling around the garden. We only ever see the garden from John's perspective, and I love that, but branching out once in while with your customers would in my opinion add an interesting new dynamic. Anyway I'll shut up now..

    • @pamelaspooner7183
      @pamelaspooner7183 Год назад +4

      No, just a quick way to remove the spent petals. Looks better superficially fora public garden til you have time to come back and clip the heads OR leave them for hips to develop.

    Interesting to see a Poulownia there. Curious how big it will be allowed to get. From what I understand, it's an absolute nightmare in the garden, being one of the fastest growing trees and highly invasive. Good luck with the root suckers when you cut it back.
