I hate to be critical, but I feel Audra was buried too far back in the mix for large parts of this song. Kelly is a real belter, but Audra doesn't quite have the same power in her voice, so she needs to be brought forward a bit. She was drowned out by the guitars particularly. 🤔

No transition makes it feel a lot more professional to me like you could put it on tv on a dvd on any streaming service etc and it wouldn’t feel out of place but with transitions it has a very RUclips feel

It's the only reason they covered it, there's a million pop songs to cover, obviously they know they'll get all the views because ADTR already made it into the pop punk classic. Pretty cunning and yet no where near as good as ADTR version
A bit of constructive criticism: The guitars were drowning Audra out at some points in the song. Something to look out for...

Kelly Clarkson - i found her with "Since U been gone", watched her videos on Viva and go 2008 to her concert. Yes, and now i dream from the day, we go to a F211-Concert ... 2008 i was alone on the concert. But thanks youtube i know some German F211-Fans ... :)

This is actually one of the few covers I didn’t like. Audrey’s voice felt weak in the first two choruses compared to how hard the instruments were going.
Also the drums didn’t feel as on point as normal and as a drummer that was hard to say. Most specifically the cymbals were too loud and the high-hat was too quiet during the chorus. They are ok during the verses. I don’t know if it’s because with everyone recording at home that the mixing was harder to nail down or if the drummer him self picked the wrong grooves to play. I think it was the mixing because 1: The drummer is usually really good with picking really good grooves. 2: When he played the fills the volume was fine so that leads me to think that there was some kind of mixing problem.
Maybe with the volume that loud 8th notes on the cymbal it would’ve sounded better or if the vocals were just not loud enough. I don’t know. Could’ve just been me and nobody else had this problem.
Anyways, those are just my thoughts. It was solid cover regardless of volume tho. Good job 👍🏽

It's not the mixing, the vocals were just straight up bad and weak. They felt like they have no energy behind them

I thought this too. Was searching for such a comment. It is a cover so they can do what they want but I think the voice is to weak / calm. The orginal sounded like there a feelings that need to be shouted out loud. This sounded as if she was just hitting the notes without feeling it. She has a beutiful voice and is a really good singer but it sounded to emotionless or to happy for this song.

That style of guitar is called a Les Paul. (I have one. :))

shortly after you see the headstock, it is a Gibson. That means it is a "real" Les Paul ... costs a pretty penny ha ha.
Awesome guitars, much warmer tone than Stratocaster. Strat is brighter, more bite - Les Paul is definitely more mellow, more punch. The pickups matter, and also the more dense body (maple or mahogany?) - they are heavy guitars :)
