I remem watching you when you were on the team skull gran blue tournaments. Glad you've got a name for yourself friend and I hope you continue to show em up.
i was the gio, that air backdash was supposed to be IAD but missinput. happens once in a blue moon, but it had to happen here. either way, the tournament was fun. so cool hearing someone comment on my gio. i think a lot of my problems were that I was doing subpar oki. I've kinda automated always going for safejump, but safejump is worse oki than just doing meaty c.S. so yeah, I was overcomplicating things.
Faust really is the "I'm just here to have a good time" character. I picked him up a month into the game as soon as I saw he could fast RC off scarecrow for some crazy fullscreen mixups. He has a lot of the most fun mixups I've seen in a fighting game.
4:02 correction, he can get a combo from that. 2nd hit of Beak Diver on CH goes into 2S > 623S (if he wants to deal even more damage, you can spend more stamina to do ) > S > 66 > c.S > combo of choice. in total this route takes all 3 bars of stamina. to only spend one additional bar of stamina, he can dash cancel it into c.S and do a standard combo from there, such as c.S > 2H > 214S > 5K > 6H > 623S > wall break
The way you take them back midscreen is by using Elk into its followup for the wallsplat, it splats them high and forces you behind them when you go upwards and backwards. I know because it fucks up the 100% tension spend from RDL, Up Back, Up and then explosion; Elk Hunt's followup splat is the ONLY splat where that doesn't result in a wallbreak cause of the flip.
Nice to see someone making use of how good of a stagger button 5h is given it is only -4 on block, other good stagger buttons are 2s and 6H which are -5 and -4 respectively, although 6H is a bit riskier as its an advancing button which makes the spacing for it a bit awkward.
The size of the follow up's explosion (and its damage) is proportional to the meter spent, there are three levels: 1) 1-25% meter 2) 26-49% 3) 50% Level 1 is so small that it will often just whiff if not done in the corner, but if you're not careful, the third hit of RTL will break the wall before you can even do the follow-up anyway.
@@butteredtoast3032 I know lol. But it's funny as Ky, cause everyone mashes on 6k for some reason. Something about arcsys designing moves, they always throw in a janky counter intuitive looking move.
@@uniquename6925 i know you know, that was the point, come on man 🤣 i think people just tend to mash on block in this game a lot cause they dont want to deal with pressure, aint nobody paying for a game to block LOL 🤣
My gold burst button got stuck. GGs, thanks for hosting!
gg's congrats

You're neutral game was super strong though, good showing!
New Mimir Commentary DLC pack is pretty dope.

Holy, you're the embodiment of the nerd emoji. haha
@@HPblu3 thank you :)
I like how everyone assumes 2S is a low
WHAT IS HE COOKING?

I'm a faust that just hit the celestial floor and i had no clue that sin had a dive kick
that super punish from a whiff is brutal
I don't see Sin players doing the meter dump for the super that much. For just a slim of meter, seems worth it to me...

Do you host these live?
Yup! "baccpack" on Twitch! 🎙
Sin does a lot of damage.
Are the tournaments you host open to all? If they are how would I go about signing up?
Every friday on PC www.start.gg/tournament/baccpack-s-brawl-23/details
Sin 2S is not a low, its a mid btw
Ha, yeah right,
Next you'll be telling me Ky 6k isn't minus on block.
@@uniquename6925 It isnt bro, imagine that! Mindblown 🤯
@@uniquename6925 i just said causa baccpack mentioned it a lot of times hitting as a low, but its not
