      To appreciate this more, if you aare not a hoops player or haven't played in a year, just try to shoot 10 free throws on a 10 foot bucket (15 feet away, 10 feet off the ground) then see how many you make. 9 out of 10? You win.
      In high school, two of my friends would usually get somewhere between 48 and 50 out of 50 before the real practice. The rest of us players were pretty happy with 8 or 9 out of 10.
      If that is way too easy, see if you can dunk a basketball on a 10 foot rim. It took me 16 years to even do that.

      I've only been watching basketball for a couple of months (uk so timezones are difficult). Was this the general consensus of Curry at the start of last decade? That he might be only a good player? From what I have seen this far, Steph Curry's shot is basically the best weapon in sports history, alongside Messi's dribbling, the Sampras serve, the mayweather shoulder roll, the Federer forehand etc etc. Glad to see he surpassed the hype he had.
      Basketball is such a sick sport. The players never seem to show off their money, or talk like idiots. Sure, they like their weed, but that makes them human.
      Klay thompson, from what I see, is also a great shooter, where do people rate his shooting abilities?

    • @almightysosa3007
      @almightysosa3007 4 года назад +12

      Joe Sawyer scouts thought curry was too small to finish inside and that he could shoot his team out of the game and some even went as far to say he wasn’t a true point guard. It took him awhile to get started in the nba but he became a deadly shooter and once they got klay it was basically all over. When you rank them in terms of greatest shooters it definitely goes curry 1, klay 2, ray 3, Reggie 4. I compare curry to Messi because he’s Able to do the fancy plays so brilliantly. No player gets cheeky with it more than curry

    I witnessed Magic/Bird/Isiah/MJ/Iverson/Shaq&Kobe/Vince/Duncan/T-Mac and every other theme in between that dominated the league.
    Steph Curry's dominance is uncharted because he has consistent dribbling, interior and exterior range starting at just inside of half court, masterful stop and go elusive movements with or without the ball, and passing that is never shaken regardless of how big or small the moment is and keeps defenders on edge whenever he's on the court and on the offensive side of the ball.
    His style of play is a level of dominance that's above anything I've ever seen in the NBA.

      KENNETH JAVIER just not from midrange or corner 3 a few times when it was desperately needed [joke - I think he’s a good finisher too]

      @@dimes919 Except for games 5-7 of the 2016 Finals. No Bogut, Draymond missing for game 5, Curry shooting poorly in game 7... that would've been a great time for Barnes to step up a bit the way he did vs. San Antonio a few years earlier.

    I’m 46 years old and have obsessively followed the NBA since I was 11 years old. I was having a very tough time and in many ways watching and playing hoops saved my life or at least enabled me to get through. Not saying Steph’s the best player I’ve seen but he’s hands down my favourite ever player to watch. The joy, the skill, the love, what an amazing teammate he is and what a wonderful person he seems to be - everything. Thank you for posting this video! Love to everyone for a great 2020! ♥️

      Thank you Parrog.....for stating the truth. Steph is not only an amazing player, he is a great teammate and a huge contributor to the Bay Area community. Plus, he is super thoughtful, articulate, respectful, and humble....and no, I'm not exaggerating. The only way you could not like this guy is if he has punked your f-ing team!....and maybe not even then!!!
