I've only been watching basketball for a couple of months (uk so timezones are difficult). Was this the general consensus of Curry at the start of last decade? That he might be only a good player? From what I have seen this far, Steph Curry's shot is basically the best weapon in sports history, alongside Messi's dribbling, the Sampras serve, the mayweather shoulder roll, the Federer forehand etc etc. Glad to see he surpassed the hype he had. Basketball is such a sick sport. The players never seem to show off their money, or talk like idiots. Sure, they like their weed, but that makes them human. Klay thompson, from what I see, is also a great shooter, where do people rate his shooting abilities?
Joe Sawyer scouts thought curry was too small to finish inside and that he could shoot his team out of the game and some even went as far to say he wasn’t a true point guard. It took him awhile to get started in the nba but he became a deadly shooter and once they got klay it was basically all over. When you rank them in terms of greatest shooters it definitely goes curry 1, klay 2, ray 3, Reggie 4. I compare curry to Messi because he’s Able to do the fancy plays so brilliantly. Thank you Parrog.....for stating the truth. Steph is not only an amazing player, he is a great teammate and a huge contributor to the Bay Area community. Plus, he is super thoughtful, articulate, respectful, and humble....and no, I'm not exaggerating. The only way you could not like this guy is if he has punked your f-ing team!....and maybe not even then!!!
His mastery of the game is most apparent when he makes unorthodox plays that are the correct play at that moment. The improvised pass fake to the pass off the glass for a dunk was an exhibition of mastery and team chemistry.

Most exciting player to watch ever, he changed the game, every nba player wants to be like him and is jealous that they can’t, that’s why he gets so much unnecessary hate
I don't watch NBA (i can't for ... reasons) but from what i see on RUclips. he and James Harden seem to be the 2 most entertaining players to watch, right?
"It's amazing what Curry can do with a basketball"
Nice
I'm just saying, well done for quoting the fucking video
underrated. He should've been 2 times finals mvp in 3 champ years for me. Clutch best shooter great handler greatest pg . would've been a lot better if refs doesnt disrespect curry.
he is hated by many media resources who are voting for fmvp; even averaging 35/10/10 he will still have less chanches than zaza or quinn cook
He should’ve won in 2015 and 2018 smh they don’t want a 6’3 undersized point guard in a top 10 discussion with some of the greats
Johnny Lun
No. Lol! He didn't deserve it in either of those years. In 2015 the series changed when Iggy was plugged into the starting lineup.
In 2018 KD was the most important player on the team and it wasn't particularly close. Clutch shot after clutch shot. Plus phenomenal defense.
The Dark Knight nah man in 2015 the series was tied 2-2 and Steph closed it out hitting 2 big threes... and 2018 it should’ve been a co fmvp it’s just facts! No Steph no rings 🤷🏻♂️
Johnny Lun
You could also say no KD no rings in 2018 because they wouldn’t have gotten past the Rockets without KD. 🤷♂️
Why isn’t Steph considered amongst the greatest of all time?
I don’t know much about basketball, but this man’s game is what might seem like legendary to me
He is considered as one of the greatest, there is a player called micheal jordan who is considered as best player basketball has even seen
DRAWING STEPHEN CURRY... | IT'S HERE ON THE CHANNEL !!!!
He is though? Most (sane) people considered him top 15 all time before his 4th chip, and with this championship and fmvp he’s a cemented top 12 player of all time with an argument for top 10 all time.
Man, I’m so happy I appreciated Stephen Curry while he was up and coming/in his prime, instead of being a hater. Special, special player.
curry is:
the best shooter of all time
a generational player that revolutionised the game
the best pg of the decade
arguably the best pg of all time especially when all is said and done
but hes more than what he does on the court, hes a humble family man and i truly respekt him ✊ get back to the court soon curry cos i need to see some insanely deep 3s again cos nobody do it like the chef

I’m 46 years old and have obsessively followed the NBA since I was 11 years old. I was having a very tough time and in many ways watching and playing hoops saved my life or at least enabled me to get through. Not saying Steph’s the best player I’ve seen but he’s hands down my favourite ever player to watch. The joy, the skill, the love, what an amazing teammate he is and what a wonderful person he seems to be - everything. Thank you for posting this video! Love to everyone for a great 2020! ♥️

Crazy how many of his shots are uncalled fouls
He does not flop so...
Especially that corner 3 in rd 1 of the 2015 finals against the Pels... Like 3 ppl fell on him after the shot and... NOTHING..
