I love how every character in ZZZ is actually different.
The main reason for that is unique body type, they don't use body templates like Genshin.

I still hope for big buff body type to be added to Genshin like some NPCs are.

It’s due to storage management especially for mobile, Genshin being limited due to the map content. Having variation would mean making different animation for each character, taking more storage hence why some character have the same animation based on their body type.
ZZZ is stage based, like Honkai, can focus on different body type and highly fluid animation
to be fair, this game is more of a dungeon, so less resources need to be put into the maps
hoyoverse really knows how to animate and design their characters 😍😍

It’s an absolute Persona nod, both in music and UI/menu design coloring. Nothing wrong with that though.
I've said it earlier this game gives me heavy persona vibes too and I already love it from the BGM

Lycaon is already my favorite and I didn’t even get to play the beta which makes me sad, his design looks so cool and if he uses Capoeira, Muy Thai or any form of hand to hand combat, that’s a cool ass character
For being a tuning test its so smooth at 60fps and the music is awesome.
I hope this can fix certain things before final release.

I was worried that character designs wouldn't be varied enough like in Genshin and Honkai until I saw the bear guy and wolf butler
Immediately, all my worries faded away
Wdym, it’s just Genshin that doesn’t have variety since Honkai doesn’t have the template/base stuff like in Genshin so it’s pretty much limitless, I mean there’s no reason for them to make someone not so important playable but they can make Lewis a battlesuit if they want to but she isn’t that important to the story, who knows maybe Lewis will play some important role later on
Though the female only limitation is a shame I think it would be weird to suddenly have a male battlesuit unless they give a free Adam as a surprise for the last APHO
@@Eeooaa59both star rail and hi3 reuses the same models. Its gonja be the same onwards. Its just that genshin has a lot of characters so people think its a big deal.
@@jellythewomanconsumer1590 don’t Honkai have as many or more characters (battlesuits and non playables) than Genshin. Isn’t the reason people found this a big deal just because the three games have only humanoid characters, I mean this comment is about how they’re afraid that this game wouldn’t have nonhumans
Reusing models doesn’t make the game character design limited either
No matter what this isn’t a big deal. Mihoyo reusing models/template/base (yes Genshin may reuse a lot with short and children models) is normal

I’ve only had billy and Ben for a day but I would die for them
I play Genshin and a little bit of Honkai and imo i think the character designs really stand out, like they aren't just the same designs from Hoyoverse other games and i really like that.
From what I know, The Team behind Honkai, and Genshin, and now ZZZ, all are different developer team. Only the Music Team is the same. So yeah, it's normal if you feel the design is different from either Genshin or Honkai.
