Can't blame you for not wanting to show your face these days. I contemplated for a while before finally deciding to give up that part of my anonymity. I still don't use my real name or a detailed location. I don't really worry about any of the "regulars" but considering that less than 20% of viewers are active participants, that means 80%+ of viewers could be anybody.
I had the same dilemma. In my experience, these days, you can find out just about anything about anybody online. It doesn’t take a whole lot of effort. Still, I think it’s wise not to give out personal details to the general public.
I'm an outlier, Im glad most YTPC members are comfortable enough to show their face and share more personal stuff. I have bitten off a lot to chew before IRL and on the internet (and ill do it again, wahahaha😎) but I am trying to learn a more sensible thoughtful was of living, pipe smoking &ytpc is helping me with that. Maybe in another year or two I'll be in a different place literally and figuatively but for now it's got to stay 1st person.😊
