Jackée Harry Presents Tia & Tamera Mowry with The Actors Fund's Looking Ahead Education Award

- The Actors Fund’s Looking Ahead program was created in 2003 in partnership with SAG-AFTRA to work with youth between the ages of 9 and 18, helping them develop the values, skills and confidence they need to make successful transitions to fulfilling adult lives. Now serving more than 300 youths per year, their families and alumni, the program aims to create a nurturing environment where young performers get support through individual, family and education counseling, leadership development, community service and social events. The Actors Fund's inaugural fundraiser for the Looking Ahead program, the Looking Ahead Awards, was launched on December 4, 2014 and honorees included Margaret O'Brien receiving the Shirley Temple Award, Tia and Tamera Mowry receiving the Education Award, Max Burkholder receiving the Social Awareness Award and Hilary Swank presenting to her mother, Judy Swank, with the Looking Ahead Parenting Award. Hailee Steinfeld presented a special, surprise award for community service to Looking Ahead Advisory Committee Co-Chairs Fred Savage and Sharon Lieblein. Special thanks to The Actors Fund's Looking Ahead Advisory Committee for providing tremendous leadership.
