As a french main and a person who's favourite tank is the ARL-44, I loved this video.

this thing angled is a beast I remember when a Ju-87 dived on me and a 250 kg bomb landed in front of my angled Arl 44 and the bomb only took out both of my tracks and all my crew was alive
meanwhile 50kg bombs falling two blocks away blowing up my maus
The only french tank that I enjoyed grinding and playing for. Still use even at BR 6.4

Nothing is more satisfying than penning a jumbo frontally with zero trouble
This felt so confusing. My experience with it is to make crew slight yellow with hits to the face and then getting amoracked through the wet toilet paper turret front by a Pz4. I get along way better witg the 5,0 long gun sherman.
Arl44 is like the Maginot line
From the front it's this big oppressive force best used in a defensive scenario
It's a threat to most things German
But it's easy to go around and deal with from other angles-
The ARL-44 is amazing and although I will accept when they take away the extra pen that was only a result of the AMX M4 fix (though 215mm pen is still already amazing at 5.3), I would hope for them to keep the APCBC shell that it actually had and give it the assisted loading system is deserves.

@@wallachia4797 Because the pen is supposed to be for the AMX M4 only. The ARL-44 is not supposed to have such a high pen, though it's still supposed to have its APCBC shell (along with its assisted loader system).

I could argue the Swedish reserve isn't supposed to have 115mm of pen either.
Both tanks use the long 90mm and the same shell, they always have.
This is perfectly in line, given that before this change, both the ARL-44 and the Char 25t had the same amount of pen, which obviously makes no sense given the length difference of the guns.
The long 90mm is supposed to have similar performance to the German long 88 given the development of the ARL and its armament, coupled with the observable similarities of the armaments in-game, which it now does, as it should. (241 mm vs 237 mm pen)
@@wallachia4797 The arl44 has a naval gun and this is reflected by the balistic of the gun, the shell essentially dont fall before 5000m.
It's more like an upscaled panther gun with a longer barrel and faster velocity at the cost of no aphe.
Ironically, the ARL-44 penetration managed to stay the same while the AMX M4 increased too. Even more amazing than what we got in the end.

Got it last week, so far its been the exact opposite of my experience :p I have severe skill issue with positioning, but so far Ive just gotten one shotted every time, or bombed cuz big tank
